Would they cut mountboard

Hi, Yes. I tried it on your behalf on two different samples of 1.2 mm thick mountboard.The scissors cut the boards easily. The cut is not as clean as with a scalpel, but good enough.On thicker mountboard ? - I don't know.

Are the handles suitable for a man's hand, with big fingers?

I would think my hands are of average size, and my fingers fit the handles comfortably, but if they were much bigger, they probably would not. I think these scissors are of average size - you might do better to buy in a store where you can try them for size!

Are the handles dishwasher proof?

Sorry, I can't help as I don't have a dishwasher. However, I have wiped them with hot, soapy water.

It is the blade that measures 20cm or the whole pair of scissors?

whole scissor is 20cm, blade is 11cm. We have found the set very good value for money and use them every day (honestly).
