Bought for my go bag/first aid bag. Gives me good peace of mind that if something happens to one of us while we are out hiking or camping we can immobilize an arm or leg if needed.

Used SAM splint in training, these seem similar. Added to volunteer fire kit.

Definitely better than other kits I’ve kept in my truck. I did supplement this with a number of other emergency first aid items (additional splints, clotting agents, multiple ace bandages, , etc.) for backcountry travel, but this covered the simple basics well.

Compared to the more known SAM splints, these actually hold up very well it seems and while they are not the cheapest option, they definitely seem to be well made. I like the different sizes, although for most people I always recommend the biggest as the most important, since you can cut them to size if needed but it's hard to make one bigger. The included bag is great, although the bandage tape/Koban/krolex/vet wrap, whatever you call it, is definitely on the cheaper side.These are a great addition when further away from help, but I cannot stress practice enough. These aren't as simple to use (properly) as you might think. I believe they will hold up well and even the name brand ones aren't going to return to their original state perfectly. I have some taped up to cover sharp edges and wrinkled like paper, but they still work. These will likely last just as long.

Size was perfect and made it very easy to put in a travel first aid kit. Cost was very affordable.
