I carry it in my purse. It folds up and fits in the little pouch that takes up little space or even carry in your back pocket. I take it out and use it as a (fan) when that hot flash comes on. I bought these on the recommendation of a friend to use them as fans, as I am always hot, and these little guys move the air beautifully! They weigh almost nothing and fold up so small I can keep one in my pocket, handbag, backpack, desk, night stand, or anywhere. The little pouch keeps them folded up tight, though I do wish they had a closure of some sort. Once you get the hang of folding them, pictorial directions included, you are good to go!
