Quality and worked well

High quality and fixed the drain fitting leak on my gas water heater. So I went to replace the small angled drain valve on the hot water heater with a new ball valve so I could do annual cleanout maintenance. Well what seemed like a quick swap turned into a multi-day ordeal. The new 3/4" ball valve didn't seem to thread in far enough and despite teflon tape and a giant pipe wrench and my super-human strength (yeah right) the new valve would not stop leaking. After draining the tank again I was able to sumise that the factory had done a lousy job of threading the tank fitting and misthreaded the original and my first replacement. After re-threading and further threading the second replacement valve didn't shed a drip - bone dry, finally!

Fixed my leaking well pump. Used it to clean up corrosion on the threads on the pump inlet. Worked perfectly. No more leaks.

Worked great to thread a 1/4 NPT hole to build a transducer

Performed as advertised. Tapped a high flow tire inflator so I could install the pressure cutoff switch.

Used them a few times and they have worked well.

I used this pipe tap to tap an old corroded galvanized fitting with pipe dope in it. It did the job for me. Make sure to lubricate it and if chasing old threads be careful to get it started properly. It comes in a nice storage case.
