The Every Day filters are the ones you want if you want to chug already potable water and you just want a filter to improve the taste. The more aggressive filter can be difficult to get water out of quickly, but is what you want for any sus water sources. UPDATE: It seems they've updated the "Everywhere" filter again and now it appears to have a bit of charcoal and it's easier to drink through. I think I'll stick with the Everywhere model now, seems to be a good balance of filtering vs effort.

My family drinks water from plastic containers. We’ve been warned about the plastic particles but they choose to ignore it. I’ve been using these filters for several years and hope to continue.

The real problem is I can no longer drink tapwater. Even the supposed “clean water” taste stale and dirty without my filters.

The standard yeti straw that comes with the yeti flip lid is 8.35mm OD and 6.3mm ID (inner diameter is 1/4"), and is too small to fit snugly in the filter. I adapted it by cutting about a half inch of silicone straw with 1/4" ID to fit around the yeti straw and make it fit snugly. Easy fix. I love the taste of my water now. It does take a little effort to drink through it, but not bad, and good peace of mind with all the PFAS and microplastics and other contaminants everywhere.

This filter is a disappointment. You can’t even suck water through it. I will be moving on to a different product. They also sent me a lid that didn’t work, so I got in touch with them and they said they would send me another, but it might leak. I asked them why and they refused to send me a lid. This company has gone down hill. Like I stated before a disappointment.

I have a bottle from many years ago. The filter was different. Black. Meant to be replaced, whole thing, plastic and filter as one. I purchased the new one, as expected, fits on the straw as it should. Backwards compatible.
