A simple fix to my Hamilton Beach coffee maker without having to buy a whole replacement pot. The little piece that holds the spring in place broke off. I read the reviews of what other people said and this works perfectly. Fit perfectly. I bought a 2 pack just in case. Good price.

Exactly what we needed. We have an Airbnb and a tenant must have broke the original. Was glad to order this rather than a whole new coffee maker. Plus, we have an extra now.

Had a Amazon Basics coffee maker and the rubber washer gave out. Bought this because it looked exactly like the mechanism in ours. Too tall. The rubber washer did work and we were able to fix it. Good product.

I received the replacement but the package had only one spring not 2 as was shown in the picture. There were no directions so by trial and error I got the tiny silicone part attached correctly. The spring has to go over the stem of the black piece, then with the spring depressed, pass the stem through the opening on the bottom outside of the brew basket. Keeping the spring depressed and pushed in from the outside, stretch the tiny silicone over the star shaped end of the stem, on the inside of the basket. This which was a little tricky for me.

This looked exactly like the piece that broke on my coffee maker. It installed fine, but then didn’t spring up and down when you inserted/removed the pot. Was able to return.
