My husband and I recently built a home. When designing the master bath, we didn’t consider wall space for the left sink that does not abut to a wall. Due to the light switch and mirror location, I had to find an alternative and came across this free standing one. (We should have moved our sink to the right so this wouldn’t have been an issue. Our bad.) It’s really important to note the specs when buying a free standing one because some I looked at don’t have the necessary height because most hand towels are 28-30” long, which means the longest possible measurement is 15” when folded over. Other free standing ones I looked at are probably intended for finger towels which are smaller than a standard hand towels. This one was easy to assemble. However, I momentarily got tripped up on the adhesive pad at the base which has to be flipped around. Other than that, it was quite easy, and it’s reasonably sturdy for its purpose.

Item easily scratches during assembly, slightly short, feels cheap. The first time I received this product, it had obviously been returned by another customer as the base where the towel rod attaches was significantly scratched. Amazon return worked great, received a new product a few days later. This one was packaged well, scratch free and even had a small screw driver included. However, I can see what happened to the first person who returned it, the bottom of the towel rod is rough metal, as you’re trying to center the rod on the base and screw it in from the bottom, the slightest touch will leave scratches on the matte black paint and will be noticeable after assembly. Besides that, it’s an ok towel rack, height is ok, standard hand towel folded in half still touches the counter, love the design but the top hook has silver findings showing and the metal is cheap feeling, you can tell it’s not as nice as our Delta accessories. In the $20 range I’d be ok with all that, at its current price I feel its overpriced.

I am delighted with this hand towel stand. Easy to put together. Beautiful finish with bronze highlights. Best of all is that it perfectly fits a standard hand towel. Worth every penny. I highly recommend.

Great towel holder. Sits high enough so an actual full size hand towel doesn’t drag on the counter. Sturdy with some weight so it doesn’t tip easy.
