This works as advertised!
Installed in a 2020 Buick Enclave and this Start/Stop eliminator cable worked exactly as advertised. No trouble codes or dash lights. The engine no longer shuts off at stop lights. It's a great inexpensive fix and easy install for an annoying feature with no factory disable on this vehicle. Wish I had known of this years ago!

I am now happy!
Simple idea, simple installation, inexpensive and it works. What it does is tell your car the hood is open which turns the auto stop/start feature off. No more having to turn off the auto stop/start every time you start the car. That makes me happy

Disable Auto Stop on Chevy Blazer
I used this to disable the auto stop feature on my wife's 2019 Chevy Blazer RS. The installation took less than 5 minutes and successfully stopped the annoying Auto stop feature of this otherwise great vehicle. No triggered engine codes or performance problems were encountered. This is an awesome less than $10 solution to this aggravating "feature". This should result in less wear and tear on the starter and the engine wear associated with nearly endless start/stop cycles (particularly in city driving). Yes, these vehicles have upgraded starters and batteries but GM is probably only concerned that the starter and engine survive during the warranty period. We keep our cars a long time and in our case, any fuel savings would be overshadowed by repair costs past the warranty period.

2018 Cadillac XT5…. Works Flawlessly.
I have a 2018 Cadillac XT5 with no Auto Start/Stop button on the dash of the car. I installed this bypass with VERY little effort, and it works flawlessly. Install is right next to the hood latch. Very easy. And I had no caution lights turn on on the dash either. Very happy with the purchase.

2019 Enclave Victory!
So...............bought a 2019 Buick Enclave (used) and absolutely love the car. EXCEPT the stupid "start/stop" technology that was built into it! The issue with the technology in this car is that there was no 'off' button from the factory to disable it like some other makes of vehicles have. In fact, so many complaints from Buick owners about this one issue made them address it and I believe the company added a disable button to them starting maybe with the 2021 models. When we got the car I immediately started searching for answers to disable it and found that you only had a couple of options: 1. you could downshift to manual mode when coming to a stop, or, 2. install a module for about a hundred dollars or more that would fake out the vehicle and make it think that the hood was open (like if a mechanic is working on it and needing the engine running at the same time). So, I learned to "slow roll" stop signs, avoiding coming to a complete stop and later got into the habit of downshifting to manual when coming to a stop. This worked but was fairly annoying and my wife wouldn't have any of it and just drove the car as intended. So every time she would drive it would do the start/stop thing all the time (and at the same time, it has a mind of its own, so it start/stops depending on conditions of the what the computer is seeing). It absolutely drove me crazy thinking about the unecessary wear and tear on the starter and the drain on the battery. So I started re-looking at a defeat and figured I'd have to spring for $100+ to get a module. My latest search pointed at this gizmo, so I thought I'd try it and if it didn't work, I'd send it back.Works like a charm! No issues that I know of. No warning lights or anything. It just drives like a normal car now and it's GREAT doing so.Start/Stop technology, as far as I know isn't government mandated, but was put in place by car manufacturers to make it appear that they were addressing fuel economy and the "climate disaster". If a person believes it does good then that's fine, but building vehicles without a disable button in my opinion is not. I want to choose whether my car tuns off for 1 second before starting back up again or not, or if it turns off and on 20+ times during a short trip downtown. This affordable device allows me to do just that.

Does exactly as intended.
Did exactly what it was intended to do. Made me enjoy my car way more now that it doesn't turn off every stop and have a sluggish get up. The cord clips on to your hood harness. It was a little trouble getting it on but that's more on GM's side than the cords problem. Would buy again for another vehicle.

Worked on one car, but not the other one.
This is a mixed review. I put one of these on my 2019 Equinox, and it disabled the Start/Stop feature, and I got NO check engine light. My wife bought a 2021 Equinox, and I figured I`d put one on her car. It did disable the Start/Stop, but her check engine light came on for the Hood Latch, P275E. I removed it and erased the code. I`ll try it again tomorrow, and if the CEL comes on, I`ll erase it and see if it stays off. It works on the 2019, so why won`t it work on the 2021?
