This thing is well worth it. I have only had it a week but two (unscientific) measures were 1) I lost 9 degrees in 7 hours (-1.29 / hr), 2) I lost 7 in 11 hours (-.64 / hr) and after using thermal... down 6 in 19 hours (-.32 / hr). I have read a lot of blogs and almost everyone says they let their spa run 24/7, but I never let anything that 'heats' run when we are not home or asleep, not even the dishwasher (Water heater sure, but nothing else.... dad was a fire chief and told us stories how fires started as kids so scared us into compliance! LOL. It has been a COLD January in Florida (yes I am using the thermal in Florida, and YES, we think it has been cold) but by using this thermal I can 1) Turn it off a night around 99 degrees after a 30 min soak, 2) sleep, goto work, come back from work at 6pm and the temp has been 93 the last couple days, 3) turn heater on and by 10:30 or 11:00 I am at 102 or 104. Perfect. When heating, my unit uses 1300 watts and 11.25 amps so at .14 cents an hour and only heating it for 3-4 hours during the week thats not even $1! Weekends we may run it many more hours and use it 2 or 3 times but this blanket is well worth it and will surely pay itself off quickly, not to mention the awesome heat retention. Like I said I just got it but it sure feels well made and 'heavy' and adds only 1 minute to Pre/Post soaking routine! P.S. leave that crappy inflatable cover that comes with the spa ON and put this thermal ON TOP! Enjoy!

Kept our tub hot and our energy bills lower over a Wisconsin winter. Still looks new.

Fits perfectly, and really does insulate in cold weather. No trouble maintaining 104 degrees in below freezing temps.

This cover worked well to reduce the energy usage by about 1/2 when it is in the lower teens outside. It obviously won't have as dramatic of an effect when it's warmer, but it has already paid for itself after two really cold months. We already had installed high density foam as a ground cover prior to this purchase. It's also not too bulky or heavy to deal with and keeps the weather out.

Fits easily over the cover that came with the Saluspa, and increases the efficiency drastically. Very happy with the purchase so far, and highly recommending it now to anyone I know who has one of these tubs.

Incredibly high quality, feels like it's going to last forever, locks in heat on the hot tub like nothing i've seen! LOVE IT!
