Money well spent for a quality product!
This coffee maker is so attractive in it's style, color and efficient size! It's user-friendly, has been reliable in the month I've been using it, and makes delicious coffee! Multi-functional, I couldn't be more delighted that I went with this particular coffee maker!

Beautiful coffee maker, outstanding coffee
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a sleeker coffee maker (freeing up counter space), with a decent water reservoir, that accommodated both grounds and K-cups, and in a color compatible to my kitchen. And I found it ! It is very easy to use, has storage for both the grounds holder and the K-cup holder. It also has a memory as to the last cup of coffee made, either grounds or K-cup. It takes approximately 1 minute to brew with a K-cup and about 3 1/2 minutes to brew with grounds. However, brewing with grounds has given my husband and I the best cups of coffee !!! The flavor is consistently top level. The K-cups do well also, but the brew with the grounds is the taste we remembered from old brew pots growing up. Another added bonus is the tray which holds the coffee cup is adjustable for the height of your cup.... less splatter. The one thing I didn't like about the coffee maker at the beginning of usage was what I thought was a water leak. However, I researched it and adjusted the water reservoir on its base and stopped filling it too full. I also fill the reservoir while on the base, I don't take it on and off to refill. That solved the problem, and no more issues.I love this coffee maker !

Love the performance, no issues as others reported.
My wife and I love this thing. It makes great coffee, you can set a wide range of amounts from a small brewing basket or any K-cup, and it’s fast.We spent a lot of time looking over ratings for this one and a few others and risked the bad ratings on leaks and fragile plastic. Replacing a dual-function Cuisinart that had a k-cup on one side and a regular pot brewing on the other, we worried most about the plastic complaints. We filled the old one and this one with a base based nozzle from the faucet on the old one and the new one so we were less concerned with that, but the strength and thickness of the Ninja is at least as good as the Cuisinart coffee maker’s single cup brewing water container. I think it will stand up as long as we do not drop it. That breaks a lot of modern plastic containers. The packing was the usual adhesive plastic film over many spots to protect scratches, molded cardboard on top and bottom, and heavy cardboard beyond that, then the typical good Amazon packing. Nothing bounced around and all was intact. No issues there. The other complaint was leaking. We did not see that issue, but one thing I learned the hard way with the old coffee maker’s k-cup adapter, was that it was very important to seat the plastic cup before pushing down the cover. There are two puncture points, the bottom into the cup’s plastic and the top through the thin film top. Because the bottom pushes directly through when you push it down before closing the top that pivots down in a quarter circle, not doing that first causes the top cover to tear the film too much and it leaks around the top cover seal. If you push it down first, the tear is absent or minimized and does not leak. It took me quite a while to figure that out and later have my wife give me an “Of course, you idiot. Read the instructions “ remark. This may be the cause of others seeing leaks. And they are messy, with wet coffee grounds flowing all over. Push the cup down.We also happen to like the retro color blue. It looks like 50’s/60’s appliance colors of old. We like that look versus the ubiquitous stainless steel all over.So far, glowing remarks. If anything changes I’ll post another TLDR review.

Nice but maybe too fragile.
I like the look of the coffeemaker. It is sleek with a pleasing color. The coffee is nicely hot with a variety of styles and sizes. While it can take K-Cups, it has a workable permanent filter with a greater variety of sizes. I am using small coffee filters so that I do not have to wash so many coffee grounds down the sink. I dump the filter and coffee out quickly and rinse the permanent filter. The paper filters cost 6-7 cents each and work well for small to medium amounts of grounds. I have also gotten away with small (#2) cone filters for small cups of coffee.I worry about the durability of the machine. The water reservoir is thin and light. Mine came with a one-inch chip in the top. The company agreed to replace the reservoir, but the new one has been backordered for two months. I assume many people are trying to replace the same. I leave the reservoir in place and pour water into it rather than moving it around too much.I also worry is the permant filter will last -- especially in cases were people shake coffee grounds out between cups.
