Single Gang (1G) Electrical White Socket Blanking Plate

I blanked off an old socket behind a chest of drawers with this. Not the most attractive piece of kit seeing as it is made out of cheap plastic, but if you don't care about that then it's fine.

cheap and cheerful and at the right price used for blanking of some old unused sockets before redecorating .what more can I say about a blank plate ! as an electrician I have use 100s of them over the years and these are as good as any for this purpose .

As described, it is a bit odd though as it feels quite heavy in comparison to my other blanking plates.Loses a star because normally I just re-use the screws from whichever plate I am replacing, but for some reason the screw heads didn't fit flush on this one so I had to use the supplied screws (which do fit flush) - not the end of the world but the supplied screws are the shorter kind so was a bit awkward trying to line it up because I couldn't see clearly behind it - added about 30 seconds to the job but it's the little things you notice.

Needed to blank a light switch and its better than seeing a hole.
