Bought this to fix a dog collar where the clasp broke. These are awesome, easy to use and repaired the 1 inch collar easily. I highly recommend these if you have a buckle that broke - No more having to through it out. I am impressed how sturdy it is for being Plastic.

Simple, easy to install and use.

I bought a different product from Amazon that broke very quickly. The buckles on a car console were made from very thin material and broke easily. I replaced the OEM buckles with these replacement buckles. I was working around an elastic loop that was continuous, with no way to open the loop without cutting it. These buckles worked perfectly for this application. These replacement buckles are very durable, well made and easy to install or remove if needed. I would definitely recommend these replacement buckles for repair like mine.

Works great to replace the broken buckle on my 8-year old dog harness. Easy to use. Now, I have 3 extra, which I plan to use to fix other buckles, like my backpack.

I wouldn't have been able to undo the original strap so I got this to replace the original 1-in buckle. It is slightly more bulky looking but not by much. Pretty close to the original. I used some metal cutting shears to remove the original. It seems okay. There is a slight raised logo on the outside but it's barely noticeable. It says Calovebby. The depth of the screw in part is a bit shallow so I'm a little bit concerned about it coming loose. I'll check how it performs over time an update if so. It may not be an issue. But overall it pretty much does what I wanted so I'm satisfied with it. Connecting and disconnecting the clip seems slightly more stiff but it's really not bad. Seems pretty easy and expected. It looks like it comes with a second quick release clip as well as an additional thing that looks like it's one of those non-release clips for threading straps through it. I wasn't expecting the non release clip so that was a bit of a nice surprise. I've included a picture of it.

Great idea, poorly executed. These buckles do not snap shut securely. I used them to repair a dog collar, (45lb dog). One good tug and the collar came off. I have 2 dogs and several collars. The collar I wanted to repair was good enough quality that I did not want to throw it away. My dog chewed one of the original buckles, so I ordered these. I cut off both sides of the old buckle (male/female)and installed one (pair) of these, even used a little Loctite on the threads. Thought I was good to go, but no, first walk, first good tug and the buckle popped open. Even tried another pair of these replacements, no go. I have never had a problem with any other collar/buckle. They might be ok for very light duty, but they did not work for me.
