Push Button Trigger for NEUMI Atom 4K Lite and Atom 1080P Media Players

More Chinese junk. I tried both the motion sensor and this push button. The NEUMI recognizes neither. No settings menu for either of them. All I can do is continuously loop.

Used this to trigger a jump-scare video in a haunted barn for Halloween. Did exactly what I expected with the numi 4k lite video player. Used a 20' 3.5mm audio extension cable to be able to place the sensor where it was needee.

The button unit has a piece of shrink tubing to protect the wire connection; unfortunately, this makes the diameter of the housing too large to remove the mounting nut. I had to slide the shrink tubing a couple of inches down the wire, loosen the nut, squish the tubing through the nut, slide the nut down the wire, mount the button, and reverse the process. An alternative would have been for me to unsolder the wires, then mount the button, and resolder the wires. A couple of spade connectors, or similar, would have allowed me to just disconnect the wires, install the button, and reconnect the wires. Otherwise it works as expected, thus 4 stars. A little pre-testing/engineering forethought would have been useful!

This thing is pretty much useless. As delivered, it has heat shrink tubing on the base of the push button switch. The heat shrink is so thick you cannot back the nut off of the switch body and properly mount it in a hole. I am returning the switch and cable assembly and building my own.
