Really nice and easier to locate in uk than double price MAC RBRT equivalent. (Grip Edge license tech to MAC) They are possibly a luxury purchase but if you count the time it takes to drill out a seized fastener and the frustration this can cause they are good value. If the fasteners is seized however they still need traditional assistance such as heat, penetrating fluid etc.

Quality and delivery

If you have ever dealt with hex fasteners once they have some corrosion present or damage done to them you will know how frustrating it can be to get them out. These Grip Edge bits solve at least the problem of getting a good grip on a hex fastener. Never had a hex fastener these failed to grip on after hammering them in, they have actually let me break a few heads off of really rusted bolts. Plus they don't damage undamaged hex heads so you can use them on everything. That said they are quite spendy compared to the standard hex bits you get in tool sets or from the more conventional brands and that's for only 7 standard length 3/8 drive bits (4 through 10mm). For someone working on projects at home, unless you like being prepared for anything in advance or know the hex head fasteners you need to remove are particularly nasty, these are not a must have. For professionals, these are definitely worth having in your arsenal as a single hard to remove bolt can be costing you time. I think my set has been borrowed by at least 3 other technicians in a jam and it's never failed anyone. Not much higher praise then that.

These should be mandatory purchase for all Automotive Technicians. They will save you thousands of hours of time in the long run if you deal with rust. Incredibly well built, the technology that went into development for this style of hex bit is very impressive. I will never buy a different style hex bit.
