Excellent Quality Replacement from a considerate Company
My original Dudley valve lasted close to 20 years in a frequently used cloakroom. I was delighted to find that the newer version (Niagra Flush) produced by Dudley not only felt good quality but had been designed so that it would fit the original housing of the concealed cistern, making a potentially tricky and messy job simple. It fitted a treat!Their support desk was able to promptly and clearly answer a couple of follow-up questions I had about replacing the push-button whilst the wall was opened up.I really appreciate the consideration this company has given to its customers.

Good DIY job
I thought it may have been tricky but it wasn't, took about 10 min in a concealed Dudley Vantage. Valve comes with both tubes, a generous length so no need to buy new tubes. Practise disassembly before fitting which is simple. Taking old valve out was easy, slightly harder to slip the new valve in upright but gently lifting water inlet pipe up with a screwdriver allowed the valve to slide under. Once in position it locks with a turn.I just threaded the tubes through the hole blue cover plate, seems pointless to cut them. Just slide the tubes onto the push buttons and both worked first time, good strong flush. Easy satisfying DIY

poor quality for long term
would not recommend. bought the cistern thinking they were high quality (reflected in the crazy price tag), treated myself on my ensuite, i have replace these fill valves 3 times in 4 years. valve number 4 has just gone yesterday, im ripping the whole cistern out and replacing for a wirquin one, been in the other bathroom 3 years no issues with any of it at 40% of the cost (not inculding buying all these extra valves).. Looks well made when you handle it but the internal must be junk to fail so fast.
