This is well made, true to size, easy to put on and my small 3 year old wearing 2XS who has sensory issues but loves blue and loves it (got the patterned type left arm).My child has a fresh brake and they feel more confident as it gives good support. Their arm is kept at a good angle which makes it very effective.Due to some other reviews, I was reluctant but as there was nothing else similar with quick delivery I took the chance. It was delivered next morning.Photo makes it look big for child but in person it is actually a very good fit. It looks as though it would fit an older child well too. We have a strap sling from hospital which is good but I wanted something more secure for school on Monday. It is good quality material, has a slight padding and soft to the touch so I think it'll give good protection. We are using this for an upper elbow brake with hand to upper arm cast. I felt it seemed pricey compare to others on here but worth the cost for sure. Hope this helps.

Great easy to use sling that allows your arm to breathe. Very comfortable.

I bought this for my 2.5 year old that has broken his elbow whilst at nursery. It seems very comfortable for him, it's easy to adjust around a wriggly toddler and the boat design pattern is an added bonus. I'm going to buy another one as it's going to be a long few weeks otherwise with a child that manages to stay clean for around 15 minutes a day.

Excellent sling!! Love it!! Self adjustable, allows for immobility which I needed, support was brilliant even when lying down. Was comfortable enough to sleep in. Universal sizing…couldn’t rate this enough. Lost a star due to the strength of the Velcro. Strength is so great that it made the sling fabric a bit fuzzy after a while making the “hold” of the Velcro unstable and it pinged off a few times…I suppose you could razor off the fuzz back to actual material and it will work fine…

While the general concept of the sling allows for several adjustments and reduces pressure on the shoulder, offering better immobilization than more conventional slings, there are two key issues:First, the strap designed to secure the sling in place is meant to be positioned at the lower arm, as shown in the demonstration film. However, it is sewn at the elbow/upper arm, making it less efficient and too tight. The circumference of the lower arm differs from that of the upper arm just below the biceps. When using it on the lower arm, there is no support for the Velcro, which is likely to result in damage very quickly.Additionally, it would be helpful if the length of the shoulder strap could be adjusted in the same manner as the waist strap. When adjusting the shoulder strap, I have to attach it at the top of the shoulder, which requires moving the shoulder cushion and then replacing it again. This makes it more complicated, especially when I need to wear the sling without assistance.I kept the sling because I needed a new one as soon as possible. However, since my healing may take several weeks, I will need another one, and I hesitate to order the same model. A little more attention to detail would make a significant difference.

Very comfortable to wear - Latex free so no irritating rash, and yes, I had told medics I was allergic. Almost sent it aback as I couldn't adjust straps, videos made it look so simple and it is : The black bits are velcro so ALL THE STRAPS ARE ADJUSTABLE. On the front of the shoulder, you need to get your thumb nail under the edge of the black square and rip velcro down, then pull it through and stick it back down nearer to shoulder. On the long one that comes around the back, you can cut a bit away to shorten it if you need to (see arrows) - then rip open the TWO sides of the smaller black square, remove blue cloth it was attached to and reattach the double sided black velcro to the strap. bring it around the front and stick onto sling to get the comfort level you need.

Excellent piece of equipment.I tore my tendon in shoulder and have a bulging disc trapping the nerve down my arm so this is perfect to alleviate pain until I am able to have surgery.Very easy to use and comfy to wear…
