Karndean - Refresh (2ltr)

It was everything I expected and has brought the flooring completely to its original condition.

The price of this Karndean topper seems to be the same wherever you try to buy it in the UK. As a top coat, it leaves a satin sheen rather than a full shine. The bottle is plain and simple as is the product !!!

Disappointed. Very flat finish compared to the old dim glow. More like a mat finish than satin IMO.

We have approx 45 sqmtrs of LVT fitted around 10 years ago of which 35 sqmtrs are Karndean. We have never refreshed it but decided to after some major decorating. The process is fairly easy to follow and the Remove liquid did a good job before the Refresh is applied. It goes on very easily with the applicstor in the starter box and after two coats with the second one at 90 degs to the first you just leave it to dry; which in our case took about 5 hours, but would be much quicker in the summer. The end result is brilliant, it does look and feel like new and this was seen on the non Karndean LVT tiles as well. The quoted coverage on the bottle is quite low when compared to how much we actually used (which was why we purchased the 2 litre bottle rather than the 750ml to go with the 750ml bottle we already had in the starter box. We ended up using approx 1.4 ltrs to do 2 good coats on 45 sq mtrs, so plenty left for 10 years time :)
