Sulky Stick 'n Stitch Printable Sheets 12/Pkg-White, 8.5"x11"

This was a new technique for me but it worked perfectly. I printed the embroidery pattern on the sheets and then cut them out and stuck them to the piece I embroidered. So much easier than trying to trace a pattern onto the fabric. These stuck correctly and held long enough to embroider and were easy to remove.

I'm using this product in a large embroidery project that I wanted to look nicer than if I hand-drew the outlines. I was excited to find a product I could run through my printer and get a more professional looking line on which to stitch. Unfortunately, while the Sulky sheets fed through my printer just fine, and dissolved in water after the embroidery was done as it was supposed to, the ink jet ink stained the embroidery floss and the fabric around it, and was a pain to remove. I got around this problem by printing my designs on regular copy paper, then using my window as a light table. I taped the copy paper to the window, and the Sulky product on top of the copy paper. Then I used a water-soluble disappearing ink fabric marker to trace the design onto the Sulky paper. It's tedious and more time-consuming, but the ink disappears when I wash away the Sulky, and the fabric and floss are not discolored in any way. My designs can still be crisp and professional without looking like shaky free-hand drawings. The Sulky product generally adheres to the fabric well enough, but occasionally comes loose and has to be pressed down again or held in place by the hand not wielding the embroidery needle.

Amazing product! Used it on a black cotton tote bag to embroider for my kids Halloween candy bags. Washed off super easily with no residue. I tried a different brand and it left residue that was a pain to get off. When rinsing, I turned my sink to hot water and let it heat up a bit then I put the faucet on spray instead of a stream and I sprayed all over the paper for a few minutes. This cost about $1 per sheet which was twice the cost per sheet of the other brand I tried, but well worth the extra cost.

These work fine. Price may be a little elevated.

Use them all the time! So helpful with embroidery. It’s best to soak the fabric for awhile and it will all come off if you swoosh it in the water. Don’t dry the fabric until all the sticker has come off.

I bought this to use to embroider my own pattern on a shirt and it was great. Was very easy to print my design, it peels off easily and sticks to the fabric great! It dissolves super easy in the water after too. Love it.

Viene en hojas tamaño carta. Se corta fácilmente y se pega a la tela sin ningún problema. No deforma la tela y permite trabajar con textiles delicados (seda, shiffon, etc) sin que estas se atoren en la máquina de coser. Me encantó trabajar con este estabilizador y lo pienso seguir pidiendo para mis proyectos de quilting y mixed media.
