My new set of nippers and hopefully my last!
This is an amazing set of nippers. I love how they are compact, feels good in your fingers when you're using them. When not in use you can easily lock them closed. There's even a barb to clean out painted hook ends. I love my set and use them every single time I go fishing!

NOW it’s the perfect tool!!
Nice quality and feel to it. Was hesitant at first due to price, but it ended up being one of my best purchases this year! My 1st out on the boat I went to use it and it seemed like it didn’t want to cut my line after a few times using it. I took a good look once I was home and realized that the pin was keeping it from cutting all the way. But after looking at it, I realized that it was actually too loose. A few others mentioned this problem as well. Once I tightened it and found the sweet spot, I haven’t had any issues with it cutting ever since. I know I’ve used it easily a 100 times since I’ve tightened it and it’s been perfect since. Thinking about buying a few more so there’s one easily available depending on where and how I’m fishing! I definitely recommend this bcuz it’s becoming one of my favorite fishing tools. If you take and check for tightness before going out fishing, you won’t have any of the problems mentioned in other reviews!

Great tool with 1 major issue
This snipper is well made and makes clean cuts on 50 lb braid with ease. The only issue is the design. There's a part on the inside that when turned, prevents the blades from closed completely. This is a major issue since if you have the tool tethered to something and pull on it to use it, this piece will move and prevent snipping. I ended up removing the piece and drilling separate hole to attach it to the tether.
