Wonderful game!
Wonderful game!!! I'm so glad it was re-released because I accidentally got rid of my older edition. Relatively easy to learn, and the game takes about 1 hour.

New coat of paint on an old classic
The Grail Games version of Medici features new artwork (that is quite a bit nicer than the old artwork). The components were not skimped in in anyway (though they aren't flashy). Medici is a nice light (gateway) auction game that often gets somewhat overshadowed by its excellent cousins: Modern Art and Ra. Though Modern Art and Ra are fantastic games, Medici is a great game as well.

One of our favorite games
This is one of our family's favorite games. It takes some playing to figure it out but it is actually a pretty easy concept. A press your luck style game.
