I was not able to connect this to my phone right way and had some issues which resulted in me trying a different phone which succeeded. However, once connected it was easy to use and produced high quality prints. I like that this doesn’t take any ink and just relies on thermal paper. I used these to label and organize a lot of my boxes and tools around the shop. The software was easy to use despite giving me a hard time in the beginning connecting to my phone. Once connected tho I didn’t have any other problems. My shop has been using it daily for the past month or so and haven’t had any problems with it misprinting or disconnecting. With so many options for label makers out there, this is a cheap alternative.

The device works Bluetooth on android devices only, does not connect (detects only) on iOS / ipadOS devices. Have not tested usb connection to windows computer yet.

I'm not sure why a simple printer has to be so tightly bundled with one specific printing app. The printer is good, but the app is annoying as heck. I've swapped about 4 or 5 devices until I got one to work. The app is finicky about which device it installs on. If it installs, it asks for location information before even scanning for devices. For bluetooth connection, I scanned bluetooth from the phone, but the app is not happy until I scan for bluetooth devices from within the app. Because of this, I have rated the whole experience as 3 stars.
