I had spent two years searching for a competent seller for a Retro 51 Tornado Rollerball refill, and I was very happy to discover Bertram's. My order arrived on time, packed well, and included a kind note. My favorite pen writes ink on paper better than I remember. Absolutely happy.

I was so happy to find roller ball refills for my favorite Retro 51 pen! I couldn't find them locally and they are my 1st choice . They write so boldly and smoothly (it's not a "fine" point)---a pleasure to use. I got the blue and it is a perfect cobalt--great looking. The seller (eclectic collection pens) sent them very quickly and the price was good!

I absolutely love this ink. it goes down even and smooth. Somehow, i can write legibly even while writing as fast as possible. It has a slight grab to the paper, rather than a completely resistant free roll. It's not a snag, or a scratch, like a fine - sharp pencil. But just enough. Plus, they last tons. And I write constantly. I prefer these to the parker refils. I hope these never discontinue.

Ink refills for the Retro 51 series pens. Fits perfectly and doesn't dry out. No complaints and I love the pens.

Works great for a while and then runs out of ink

My husband writes all day and is always looking for a good pen. We have bought all the expensive pens you find at staples or Office Depot. They all break and the paint comes off the pens. These pens don't break or haven't so far. The paint is holding up and he loves the way it writes and the grip. He has large hands and it fits just fine.

The quality is excellent! I definitely recommend it to everyone.

It has bigger body than my old one meaning the ink would probably last longer. However it has shorter tip than my old one (see pictures). Just keep that in mind if you like longer tip for writing. The blue ink is darker than I expected. Ink flow is very good.

Tengo desde hace muchos años el portaminas Retro 1951 y buscando encontré el boli y ví que tenía recambios de tinta líquida. El boli también admite recambios de tipo parker.

After discovering the Retro 1951 in Blue or Black, this is the only ink that I order for my pen. The writing is smooth. The amount of ink seems just right and doesn’t blotch. Quick drying that I appreciate as a lefty.
