Cheaply made *edited*
Product was fine for the first 100 uses, then the internal part that has a lot of stress on it broke. Grinder won't work properly without the internals to push against. Also you can get about 15 grams off coffee beans inside the grinder so the size is usually good for single dose of espresso beans. It is small and appears to be made of decent materials except on where it matters. I would of spent a bit more money for something that would last for the money. They replaced with a better and bigger version, magnetic from the container was starting to fall off but overall better.

Nice for about 2 months…
Misleading description about construction. While it is a solid piece, looks great and feels sturdy, the locking mechanism for the top motor section is made out of plastic. In hindsight, it's not surprising that the tabs that hold the motor section in place eventually break. Really liked it while it was working but it’s a waste of money at the end of the day.-----Update: So kudos to the company for providing a replacement, until their update is available. Really appreciate the customer service!I did want to mention a couple of things:1. Someone had mentioned that the grind settings got stuck. This happened to me too. I found that if you take it apart and clean the grind assembly, it will start working again. I think this needs to be done frequently to make it last longer.2. I think that using lighter roasts or beans that are "wetter" are more challenging to grind, and appears to get caught in the burr grinder. It frees up but that extra force may contribute to the plastic pins breaking. I think it will be less of an issue if you use a proper expresso roast or a darker roast where the beans are more brittle.

**Design Issue Fixed!!** Great Product and Customer Service
** THERE ARE NO PLASTIC TABS ON V2 GRINDER ** Ignore the negative reviews about the plastic tabs, they are for a previous design iteration.I originally purchased the previous grinder design (V1) and the plastic tabs did eventually break off. I reached out to the company, and they told me they had resolved the issue with V2, and they would reimburse me for the cost of the new grinder. A+ customer service. This is a *nice* grinder. It's heavy and feels very well made. Battery life on this is great - with 1-2 uses per day, I charge it once a month? Maybe less frequently. Grind size is consistent. WAY quieter than my countertop plug-in grinder. I preferred the screw-on bottom of the previous grinder, it just felt nicer to me, but I see that people were complaining about it so the bottom of V2 is secured with small magnets. They do the job just fine. One minor comment on this design - if you fill the top all the way full with beans, you will grind more than fits in the bottom, and the top will lift off the bottom a bit precariously. I haven't actually spilled the grinds doing this, but it could probably happen. This doesn't effect daily use because the top being all the way full is WAY more than one cup of coffee, but it's just a weird design thing. Might be a bug, might be a feature (you could grind into a different container if you wanted to grind a lot for some reason...)Anyway, if you are searching for a portable, SS burr grinder, this is the one you want!

Could have been the best portable grinder on the market, but...
If it weren't for the poor design choice to use plastic clips to secure the motor housing to the grinder, this thing would have been amazing. Sadly, like many others, those plastic clips failed for me after a couple months of use. And I seriously babied this thing because I could tells those clips were fragile.Apart from the lack of durability, this has everything you could ask for from a portable grinder. Dual bearings, a solid metal shaft, decent stainless burr set...It really is a shame. Some of the other things I liked about it are the aluminum housing, charge indicator lights, and its compact size.Minor gripes are things like its small capacity (still plenty for a single serving pour over or espresso), the grind adjustment is a bit finicky, and it takes way too many turns to take the collection cup on/off.MiiCoffee, if you rework the design to give it a better (metal) motor mount mechanism, and maybe a more convenient adjustment mechanism, this would be one of the best grinders on the market for less than $250.

Stopped working within a month
Update: it stopped working within 30 days. The dial for the grind size doesn’t turn anymore. I returned it. Below is my original review.—————I am only recently into coffee. I already have a larger table top grinder but I wanted another smaller portable grinder for my specialty coffee for single cups out of Aeropress. People who have used hand grinders may know what to expect but I didn’t. I didn’t understand the number of ‘clicks’ you need to dial to get fine or corse coffee grounds. The manual was poorly translated and I was frustrated even on how to adjust the dial. And then, when I started grinding with finer settings, it didn’t work. It would auto stop with whole beans still in the container. Again I was so frustrated. Then I figured out that only after 7 clicks the grinder started working and finished grinding of all beans I put in there in one go. And then it’s the time it takes. The finer the setting, the longer it takes. On 7 clicks, it takes more than 5mins to grind 12g of beans. Ridiculously slow compared to my tabletop grinder. But after some researching, I realized that there are basically no faster options for this type of grinder. You can’t expect that a portable, electric grinder like this to grind fast as well. I learned that you can grind manually and be faster, but that’s not what I want to do. I’d rather wait. After I got used to it a bit, I appreciate its sturdiness and consistency, and built a workflow to setup my Aeropress while waiting for the grinding. I haven’t tried but theoretically I can take all my coffee equipment (including this) outdoors and have a fresh cup of specialty coffee in wilderness. So this is a keep for me.
