Milwaukee 05-88-1500 M6 Chuck Screw

Item that arrived was a black screw. I'm not sure how that differs other than strength but it fit my M18 Milwaukee no problem. I haven't had a chance to field test it yet tho so hope this holds up as a few other reviews have mentioned breakage!

I ordered this one so if I have to replace chuck again, I'll be able to see that it's PH2 drive. The screw sent was black, so I can't really see it inside chuck.

Instructions for taking the chuck off would have been nice but the screw was exactly what I needed. I found a video for removing the chuck off a Milwaukee cordless drill and was able to replace the screw. The original screw head broke when I used the drill to turn the motor on a lawn mower and it over torqued when I stopped the drill. Better to break the screw than the motor, right?

Factory fit, drill is now as good as new.

Fits my ridgid hammer drill.

Worked perfectly in place of the original one. Hardest part was drilling out the broken piece from the original screw. Being left hand thread, that wasn't bad though.
