Nice little sensor. Works like a charm with HomeKit support! Winner
Simple little sensor. Does exactly what it should. Triggers perfectly. Installation of the hardware is super simple. Stick the parts adjacent and off and running.Does need a Meross Hub which is a downer since it seems like I have a ton of these floating around but it is the nature of the technology.HomeKit support is there and it works flawlessly. Keep in mind its a sensor so it doesn't show up like a light or bulb but its there. Step down to your room and likely see it.Assume it works with the "other" ecosystems.Perfect sensor for doors, windows or the like.

The Meross Smart WiFi Door & Window sensor simply does not work.
I purchased two hubs and four sensors for doors in our house. I can get the hubs connected to our HomeKit and then I can get each of the sensors to connect to the hubs and working correctly. Until a little while later and the sensors lose connection to the hubs. The hub-to-sensor connection is completely unreliable. I cannot depend on the safety that these sensors are supposed to provide. Maybe, just maybe there will be a firmware release that remedies this, I don't know.

Good for print farms
I set these up with my 3d printers so i can control then from around the house. I have a camera setup and if i see something is going wrong i can turn off the printer without having to be in the same room. They disconnect very quickly and are super easy to setup.

Great addition to my Meross group
I have been waiting for Meross to come out with this. Using it to mark open and close on outside metal shed 20x40' approx. 100 ft. from home (note it does have its own WiFi). Easy to set up but had to figure out how to add a light to come on inside home when roll up door was opened,( it is in hubs settings pass open and close reports "automation". It will control as many Meross devices you want but you have to hit the "+" mark to program each device you want to control but works well. Looking in to buying more sending units and would recommend it to others. Note after a few weeks the sending unit stopped working, after inspection I found the battery was loose due to the small tab in the battery holder. After pushing it in a bit the battery was tight and fixed the problem. It might be worth checking this connection before installing (had to remove unit to repair).

Easy to install... can be finicky
Easy to install and setup. Has a good 2 second lag which isn't the best but it's okay. Day one it completely dropped off the hub and I couldn't figure out why. I had to take the battery out and replace it very carefully to get it to power back on. After a few more hours it stopped working again and I had to do the same thing, however, this time I mounted it horizontally to the top of a door frame to stop any shifting and it's been working so far (I think I'm at day 4?). If it goes out again I'll update this review.

Great addition to any home security setup
In the Box: The packaged contains the sensor which consists of one small sensor and one larger sensor. There is also the hub which is what connects the sensor to your network. There's a power cable and power supply that plug in to the hub. The hub pretty small and can easily be tucked away near any outlet. Also in the box is a metal device used to press the pinhole button as part of the setup, and also two pieces of double-sided tape (these I found underneath all the packaging at the bottom of the box, if you don't see them at first, pull the box apart, they're probably just underneath the inserts).Setup: If you don't have any Meross devices the first thing you should do is install the app and set up an account. Once that's done it's just matter of using the app to add a new device and then follow the guided instructions on the screen. I set mine up with Apple HomeKit, which simply required scanning (when told) a QR code on the side of the bridge. It then took about a minute for everything to talk to one another. After that you attach the larger of the two sensors to the door/window frame and the smaller to the door/window. They can't be more than a millimeter or two apart or else there won't be a connection. I recommend attaching the one to the frame, then moving the other closer and closer until the app notifies you that your door is closed. Mark that spot, and then attach the sensor to the door. From opening the package to having everything working took less than ten minutes (I already had the app installed from an existing Meross device - if you have to install the app and set up an account it will take a few minutes longer).Impressions: It uses a magnetic connection to detect whether or not your door is closed, it's a pretty simple device. It notifies within a second or two when the contact is lost (the door is open), and about the same amount of time to report that the door is closed. It even has a handy log in the Meross app that shows every open and closed event. You can even export the data.It integrates well with Apple HomeKit, using its notifications to report when the door is opened and closed (you can enable or disable these notifications in the settings). If the door is open, in Apple's Home App it'll show that there is a security alert - clicking on the tab reveals the door is open. After a week everything has been working fine and I am absolutely delighted with the device. It's a simple sensor to help keep track of when things have been left open and give me nearly instantaneous updates of their status.

Constantly Looses Connection
I bought this with many door sensors. I've had to re-add the hub and sensors many times to my home. Last night I gave up and ordered another brand. I do not have an issue with their light switches or plugs, however these seem very unreliable. replacing the battery did not seem to fix the issue.

Another quality Meross product
When I started adding smart IoT devices to my home a few years ago, Meross was one of the first "low cost" options available, and while I wasn't the biggest fan of their app at the time, the company has grown and with it, the quality of IoT smart devices and the app has generally improved while costs staying quite affordable. While these are not the simplest installations I've done recently (Matter-enabled or Apple HomeKit-compatible units have been generally much easier to setup on my network) these were still fairly simple to set up, and considering the low prices, well worth the tradeoff of some convenience for the lower price. Since they're a set of four smart plugs there's also a great option for those starting their own conversion to IoT homes, and I actually have given a set of these to a friend looking to get into the conveniences of IoT, and if 4 isn't enough, another kit for ~$20 makes it pretty affordable to scale up within the same universe.

Worked for a while
Bought this as a night light for my kids. They enjoy having lots of colours to choose from, and it is intuitive for them to use. I enjoy also have wifi app functionality so I can set up routines. The lowest light level is not super dim, might not be suitable for all bedtime situations. It worked great for a while but unfortunately the small round socket in the lamp for the power cable has now broken - it has disappeared into the lamp. Perhaps not fully 'childproof'.

Excellent lamp
Excellent lamp. Bright, great colours. Not sure why other reviews said hard to connect - it was very easy to connect. If you lose instructions they can be easily downloaded. I want another one now!!

Feature packed little lamp
This lamp throws out a great amount of light for my home office and it looks good. You can change the colour to any colour in the rainbow, and it has several levels of dimming. You can alsointegrate it with home automation, in my case with Alexa. I have it automatically turn on in the evenings with the other smart globes in my home. Very affordable given the features.
