Needed Extras
I really only bought this for the mats, so the rest was a bonus. We were having sushi night here as a family and several family members wanted to learn to roll sushi. I already had 2 mats but needed more and the price was amazing.The mats roll sushi easily, and each roll came out perfect. They will last for some time as the quality is pretty good. They are not easy to clean, but neither are my other mats. I just keep a small brush on hand for cleaning rice particles out of the mat.

You could wing it with out it.
I got this thinking I would really need it to roll sushi, but I hardly used it. I can roll sushi with out this bc I’m only feeding myself and idc if it gets messy, it’s all going to the same place.

Basic sushi mats but does the trick
These are your basic sushi roll mats. I cover them with plastic wrap first, Seaweed on top and then fill it with whatever you like. As you roll you slowly keep pulling out the plastic wrap. Voilà you got your perfect sushi rolls! It's nice that the set includes a wooden spoon for the sushi rice. Dip it in water each time you get some rice so it doesn't stick to the spoon.
