A good, inexpensive upgrade to cheap original pickups.
Work great as an upgrade for a squire Strat. I used the electronics from it in a guitar I 3D printed, and wanted to make it sound a little better than original. It sounds and plays perfectly. Just be sure to read the instructions carefully and watch your wire colors. Don't install these unless you can solder well, and if you don't, resist the urge to twist them onto the connections. All electronic components in a guitar need to be solidly connected.

GREAT Value For Money
Very good quality pickups for the money, they turned my 20th anniversary squire strat from an average, budget guitar, into something I enjoy and look forward to playing. They make it sound more Strat like than ever before. These, an orange drop tone cap, and modern wiring conversion making the second tone knob control the middle and bridge pickups make this beauty sing. Bell like chimes that turn into a creamy mid range saturated heaven for the ears. Installation was straightforward as long as you’ve done any soldering before. The silicone shielded leads affect the sound in no distinguishable way. If it weren’t for the pickup covers, you’d swear you were playing through a set of 60’s pickups. My current setup is the squire into the preamp of an orange micro dark, to the power amp of a marshall MG100CD, into a peavy 4x12.

Well worth the money!
Installed these in a Squire for the wife, pleasantly surprised at how much less hum they have, how smooth they are, and just how much grit they get under high gain for kicks! Also easy install, fit perfect in new pickguard, couldn't ask for a better budget option for this guitar.

Can't go wrong
These are great cheap pickups! Everyone rates ceramic magnets strat pickups low but they aren't harsh just bright with good tone and medium output.

Great buyn
I was wanting to upgrade my Les Paul and decided to upgrade pickups before doing so. Glad I came across these Wilkinsons as they improved the sound a great deal! I was hoping they came up a bit closer to the strings but quite frankly no need. Sound clarity, crispness and sustain is beautiful.
