Well made tool and does exactly as advertised

Very robust tool but the blade is about 3 mm thick and square at its edge, hence very hard to push under the turf. I vastly improved mine by grinding a sharp edge on the blade- fine if you have the means to do this.

Design was as expected. Will be used for levelling of lawn.

It was very heavy and difficult to use. I couldn't use it at all and was unsuccessful at lifting any turf.

this tool is not fit for purpose.the blade is to thick.before using had ti grind the blade much thinner.not to bad now .still needs more grinding.do not think i will use again,thanks

This is a quality tool but the iron is too thick and has a blunt edge. Sharpened the edge on a grinder prior to use. I planned to lift turf on a day when the grass was damp so the soils soft. In reality it was the most backbreaking job ever. I am sure the tool is good and it is my technique but for a large area of turf lifting this is really not the tool for the job.
