Recipe book
I'm used to a Magimix and this does most things that I need. However, the accompanying recipe book is disappointing. The recipes aren't in good order [eg victoria sponge cake for pudding for 4!; basic cake mixture P 35 - with gruyere cheese!] and printing isn't accurate [eg basic recipes "breas" buns instead of bread]One point in its favour: it's hardback rather than spiral wired, so shouldn't disintegrate.

Great buy
I do have a slight arthritis problem with my wrists and thumbs, and although I love to cook, have found pastry making, etc quite a struggle. This machine is excellent. Produces excellent pasty, cake mixes, etc. I use it loads.

No regrets
This food processor does exactly what a food processor should do. It is not too large, easy to use, easy to clean and works well.

Really good prossesor
Just bought this machine and made the scones from the cookery book it came with. Absolutely loved using the processor. It made perfect dough and was really easy to use cleaning the dough blade was a nuisance - the dough was stuck on the inside so having a bottle brush helps. Overall though I am very happy and look forward to using it again.

poor quality bowl
My first Magimix was bought in 1982 and lasted me 20 years - it was still working well when I gave it away. Lured by the mini bowl of the, then, 3100 I replaced it. The mini bowl was great but the quality of the large bowl and its lid was shockingly poor. Since 2002 I have had a replacement bowl and a lid (at startling cost)and today the lug on the lid that holds down the safety spindle has broken off, rendering it unusable. Both the bowl and the lid are flimsy compared to my older model, they have cracked and the handle wobbles and feels as if it could come off at any moment. All this despite hand washing. I am looking for another food processor at the moment but it certainly won't be a Magimix.

Brilliant addition to my kitchen
This product is a really well made and solid piece of kit for anyone who spends time in the kitchen. Its saves me so much time and is easy to clean . Ive had one for years and just updated and it doesn't disappoint. I love the new bendy plastic bowls which seem shatterproof . I got through two bowls with my old magimix and so I was pleased they worked on that and improved it too. I would recommend this product to any one .

Magimix 3200
I took ages to decide on a food processor and eventually plumped for the Magimix 3200. I was a bit put off by the price when there seemed to be other brand processors which did the same sort of thing for a lot less money. Glad I did! I've been using the Magimix for a couple of months now and it's proved a real help in the kitchen. I've made great pastry, sponges and cakes, and loads of chopping and slicing for stews, soups, etc. It doesn't come with as many attachments as a lot of cheaper processors but in my opinion you only really need a decent blade in the main bowl for most jobs. I've hardly used the mini and midi bowls. It recommends that you start with the smallest bowl but I've found that if you use the smallest one first it usually blasts flour or whatever you are using into the other bowls anyway so you end up having to wash all three. All attachments are really good quality and seem durable. It somes with a storage box which is essential as blades very sharp. The 3200 seems adequate for my family 2 adults and 3 children (aged 7-2). You will need to find a permanent spot on your kitchen work top as it's definitely not one for taking in and out of the cupboard - quite heavy and big. Easy to clean bowls and wipe clean processor. I was really afraid that this would be the kind of gadget that was loads of trouble to clean and you'd end up with tons of bits to wash so it would become a real pain and end up relegated to the back of the cupboard but that's definitely not the case so far.

Magimix
We have used this firms machines for many years. They work very well and are reliable. The latest one was purchased to replace an earlier one that was retired after giving good and long service. It is proving as efficient as its predecessors.John Roberts
