I found it really difficult to purchase the right stud key for my daughter’s boots several had to go back finally found this one which fits plastic studs designed to replace Nike and Puma and unbranded boot studs but not those that fit most Adidas. I wish studs were sold with the correct key! This key fits Sports Direct studs too (who sell studs instore but never have the key instock and want £4.99 delivery). Changing softground boots from metal to plastic studs is a great way to get top of the range boots at discount prices when the firm ground / artificial ground boots have sold out.

This stud key doesn't work with the Precision Ultra Flat Rubber Football Studs (Set of 12 - One Size) K-REY-FB860 found adjacent in the Amazon listing which is both disappointing and misleading! It seemed the alloy spanner type stud key was the correct one (but an expensive and wasteful way to find out!) but the alloy spanner doesn't fit either, as I found out after buying it after the plastic key, so that's now being returned! What's the point of only having the option to hand tighten studs like these, unless you resort to pliers, only for them likely to fall out without there being a suitable stud key available to properly fix them in!? PRECISION do not state in their product description that their stud spanner and key are not compatible nor advise in the stud description that there's not stud key/spanner suitable or available! Hmmm!

It was alright but the teeth on the inside are kind of weak so this isn't great. Overall it wasn't bad could be a lot better
