Quick and easy to use, good quality video
I use this for recording drum videos (video only, sound through my laptop) and it works very well. The camera is good quality, easy to use, simple interface. Good options in settings menu e.g. viewing angle, resolution, sleep timer. The remote button is the best bit as I can trigger recording from my drum stool. I haven't tried it outdoors so cannot comment on durability.

Happy with the product
Had the camera for a little while now and can offer a good review. Is easy to use and quite straightforward menu. Good quality for pictures and video, and you can change while under water from one mode to another. The SD card is good enough for around 3 hours of video or over 2000 pictures. One battery was enough for a day in my case with what I used camera for, but as you have a second battery included in the pack, if you need extra power, is very useful. Recharging the battery takes around two hours in the battery case. Unfortunately while I was in holiday one of the button stopped working properly (I think one of the spring inside broke), but when I got in touch with their costumer service they tried from the begining to understand the issue and to find the best way to resolve. In the end it had to be replaced with a new one which until now works properly. Overall for what would majority of people use the camera is a very good option, at a reasonable price and which provide a good quality to record memories.

Good for the money
Used this on holiday but unfortunately I must of been the side of the island where there were no fish 😂 East to use and nice tough with the watch type strap sonyou can press the button for video or photo. Only thing is you won't know whether it's on record or not unless you take your mask(or helmet if doing other sports) off and have a look. When snorkeling I just turned it on and went off in the sea. Picture quality not as good as go pro but can still see some nice images and memories to make. For the money you can't really complain. Lots of adapters insdide the box to fit to all kinds of things.

Good quality at a more budget price.
I was going on quite a good holiday and was planning on doing lots of snorkelling so wanted to capture clear underwater footage. Was thinking of going with a popular brand like a Go Pro but couldn't really justify the price for potentially one holidays use, so bought this. Very pleased with the outcome and very clear underwater footage. I tested it in my pond before I went on holiday just to check footage. I never really used this camera out of water. Very pleased with outcome at a fraction of price of dearer brands. It depends on how much you are going to use it, as like I say it was for potentially one holiday so opted for the cheaper option, but very pleased.

All-In-One champion.
This camera comes with every connector bell & whistle you can imagine. The video and pucture quality a very, very good and the remote control is a winner. Taking it on holiday with me in a few days time. It's small, light and veey easy to use with a touch screen too.

Functional and great value..
The camera itself seems very well-made, and everything you need to get started is in the box. The camera is easy to use and way cheaper than many other examples. My only complaints are the attachments and the battery life. The battery life is ok, but I found myself charging every couple of days for two 15-minute daily commutes. Feels like it could be better. There's a second battery included, which is handy. As for the attachments, they're going to come in handy, but they're very underwhelming. I had to buy separate attachments to make a better job of attaching the camera to my handlebars or seat post. I'd rather see Akaso offer a range of higher-quality attachments with better functionality and appearance for separate purchase rather than the included ones. Most of the included ones you'll probably never use.

Disappointing image, stabilisation, and mount quality. Solid packaging though!
This certainly feels the part, the packaging is solid and premium, it comes with loads of extra mounts and a remote control, and the design of the unit itself is reassuringly solid. I primarily wanted this to record bike rides, as well as surfing and snorkelling adventures in summer time. I decided to try it out with a little test bike ride, and hit the first stumbling block: you’ll need a U3-class memory card, which I didn’t have. A trip to Argos later and I had the camera up and running. The next sticking point is the bike mount, which wouldn’t fit around my (fairly standard) handlebars. I prefer to bolt action cameras to my bike computer mount anyway, but it is disappointing that it doesn’t come with a better option in the box. I love the magnetic mounting option with the DJI Action 4, and it’s a shame this isn’t more readily available. I also get the feeling that Akaso has just bundled cheap accessories without giving much thought to how well they work. Instead, I mounted the camera on my helmet with one of the provided straps, which felt secure but looked completely dorky. I did a little test ride around the block and it stayed in place, although I couldn’t find a way to turn the light off, which made me look like some kind of blinking cycling Terminator. Back at home I took a look at the footage and it’s passable in daylight conditions. I had the image stabilisation turned on, which resulted in a robotic panning all over the place — I think I’ll turn this off next time. The image quality is nowhere near GoPro, and it looks suspiciously like upscaled 1080 rather than native 4K; it has that blotchiness in large areas of colour and smeariness around moving edges. But it is passable and, crucially for me, it shows number plates clearly. Low-light performance is something else, though; I ran it in my dimly lit kitchen and I could barely make anything out. I did find a low-light setting, but it didn't make a huge amount of difference. Definitely not one to count on for night rides! Overall, I’d rather spend a little more and get something that matches good looks and design with great performance.
