These are great for our solostove and our fireplace. They get the fire started and keeps it going for a long time

Used these in the fire pit at the beach and they worked as expected. On two occasions it was pretty windy so I used a couple of them but they definitely made life easier, especially with the wind. I didn't notice any more smoke or odor than there would normally be, and was happy that there wasn't even the usual kerosene odor that some of these firestarters can have.

Worked perfectly to start charcoal grill. Great option if you don’t want/like to use starter fluid.

So it seems like this must be a newer version of the product. The version I had looked like thick cardboard sheets, each sheet scored into about 40 1"x1" squares. So in theory there were 160. But the score lines were just kind of a suggestion, and in practice the 1" squares seemed kind of small so I always ended up using the equivalent of 3-4 at a time. So maybe 30-40 actual uses.The product lit easily and never failed to get my BBQ going. The smell was neutral and not a problem at all.

Finally, a fire starter that actually catches and stays lit! I know it's only fire starter but there are many out there that burn too slow or just go out too soon. Buy this, it won't let you down.

when I used it to start the fire, I had to wet it with alcohol first in order for it to burn. It does not just burn by itself. however, it is very low on smoke and I liked that fact the pieces cannot be broke and it will burn for around 8 to 10 minutes

bought these to use in our mini table top fire pit and they are perfect!

I love these. The just work well and that's all that matters. Price is very reasonable too.
