Davin has plans for the humans and hopes to make the emotionless Alvians realize just how horribly they are treating the "Breeds" they think are savages. I like this series, that story has a good development, there is a prophecy element that gives the series a solid feel. Some of the characters are active in other books and that adds to the continuity of the storyline. Great series - this book was a bit slow - we had to wait for Callie to grow up and there was more world building but its worth it.

Good read
This story is again very entertaing, still has little in battle action but more than makes up for it exploring the interactions between humans and aliens. Very entertaing and keeps you reading to keep up with the developements.

LOVE IS THE SOLUTION
The plot was very good; the characters also good. I enjoy paranormal romance. Multiple mates are a bit of a stretch, but the fact that there is true love between all of them makes it quite acceptable.

Entertaining
I didn't like the beginning of this story. It honestly made me cringe. Just felt that wasn't the best way to start a story and made Davin come off as heartless, cruel, a user rather than the sympathetic hero character. But once you get past the scene the story greatly improves. The characters themselves make you want to keep reading. You meet the O'Hara family, and you see the struggle that Davin has to deal with on a daily basis. ~There was a moment when I wondered if it was the same character, but as she describes his plight you begin to understand him and his actions a bit more. Then there was Rick. He greatly reminded me of the knight's code from Dragonheart "his blade defends the helpless, his might upholds the weak." Both men have suffered and led tough lives but still came out on top through their own stubbornness if nothing else. A good read, the plot is very original, and the setting of oven-taken-by-aliens earth is interesting.
