Technology Must Have If You Misplace Your Eyeglasses etc Frequently
For Me this item is FABULOUS! I have the bad habit of setting my eyeglasses down everywhere. With my memory๐ค. I love that I can find them so easily now. I do have the tune volume up quite a bit so it's funny if I'm standing by someone, my glasses will do a verse and get a smile. This is a great technology must have!!

still canโt find her glasses
Iโve had four different sets of these over the last year or a year and a half not had much luck with them once they disconnect from the phone. I have trouble getting them connected again. My wife lost her glasses outside and I know the battery was charged and we still canโt find them. We know theyโre in the yard and the phone wonโt reconnect to find them. Whatโs a disconnects she had the same problem with her other glasses at work, need disconnected and would not reconnect when she found her glasses a week later in her jacket pocket at work so no I donโt think much of them anymore And I wonโt be buying anymore. Theyโre expensive and donโt seem to be worth the trouble.

Truly amazing
I preordered 2 eyeglasses trackers. Waiting for the tracker to charge was the hardest part of it all. The โringerโ could be louder but, in a quiet space, I have been able to hear it and find my glasses. The pin on where the tracker is VERY good. With frames and lenses prices being so high, I would recommend to anyone to buy one or more of them !!!

Useful for helping us find our kiddo's constantly misplaced glasses.
We got these for tracking my five year old's glasses, which constantly get misplaced. This has saved us a lot if you're. The device holds a charge for 5+ days, which is nice because we don't need to charge it constantly. Users should know what this device does not do long range tracking. It will show the last place your phone was connected to them, and will reconnect when you are close to them again. If you are a person who has your device on or near you most of the time, this will be really useful. With my kid it stops tracking it we're apart, but at least helps us narrow down where it was last and let's us know if we're in the right location. The price point seems comparable to similar devices, and this one was specifically for glasses, which I appreciated.

FURIOUS BEFORE EVEN CHARGING THEM!!!
Breath...breath Jack... Woooosaaaah... Ok, this may be trivial to you, but I am getting SICK of this lack of insight and consideration. Let's pretend this was your company for a moment. Your product is designed for glasses and people who misplace them. In general, this means; 1. Your largest market share for this is people with crap eyesight. 2. It's probably going to be for an aging demographic. 3. As an aging demographic, we lean towards printed instructions over videos we have to pause or websites we have to keep looking away from the gizmo too far to go step by step. 4. Finding our glasses in Cleveland is not our battle. Finding them where we knocked them off of our nightstand is. So what do we get? Look at the first picture of the instructions on my lap. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Look at the next one at a slightly closer view. Do you see any pictures showing how the charger goes on? Is it significantly easier to read? Each "page" is 3 inches tall by 2 inches wide. The font size would read as 3-4px on your screen. The most ridiculous part? On a single 2x3 inch panel, they've squeezed in 3 QR codes to download their app. Two of them BOTH lead to the Play Store, one to the Apple version. And thats three QR codes wide across 2 inches. Kids, thats 3/8" of an inch, or 10mm to aim at when you measure the actual codes.. My 25 year old goddaughter could barely read the instructions. I'm freakin' 62! Oh, but it gets better... The package has two "wells" for the gizmo. One for the charger, and one for all the tiny adapters and the gizmo itself. The earpiece adapters are maybe about 1/4" on all sides. The adhesive strip is a featherweight piece probably less than 1/8" thick. There's, say, 4 black adapters, the black gizmo itself, all non-reflective, and that wafer thin, tiny adhesive strip. Picture that? 6 tiny pieces in an open rectangular deep hole, 2x3x2 inches. All loose. No bag. No separate tape, plastic, or cardboard on top of the "well." The pieces are all just in there loose. Begging to be dropped. And if I smack this off my nightstand while its charging, I pray the charger comes loose, because it won't work while its charging. Oh, no problem. Another ridiculously short charging cord on a proprietary charger. I'll just charge it on the floor or on my computer on the other side of the room. I used an adapter to put this on my glasses. No way was I gonna use the adhesive pad to try and hold it to the tiny adapter. I took my time and stuck the gizmo IN the side that would go over the earpiece and the really tight side over the earpiece slowly, using a little soap to get it over the widest part, until I got it where it looks close enough to where it looks like a pseudo-hearing aid. Hey, I've had my glasses knocked off during the day and finding them in grass is a nightmare. My pride went out after an hour of crawling around on my hands and knees. The adapter has a deathgrip on the whole thing. Sounds as loud as expected at its tiny size. At its volume and range, this really best suited to finding your glasses when they've fallen off from sweat, knocking them off the nightstand, banging them off in the garage. If you plan to have it on your $300 sunglasses, your vision and options make this a non-necessity. Seriously, leaving the house without them? Squint. I drive without my glasses and there'd be carnage. You'd hear about me on the news. Since this is the only kind of "finder" of its kind right now, and my wife mocks me each time I ask her to help me find my glasses, this is my best choice at the moment. But basic function aside, I've been fuming about this since I opened the box and had to use a magnifier to read the instructions, take 2 tries at hitting the right QR code, then reading other reviews just to see if I was charging them right. AAAAUGH! Get someone nearsighted with common sense over the age of 50 in the Eyeglass Finder department would you? This ain't luggage, keys or headphones. This is a bunch of people feeling their way along walls, stepping on snap together to blocks, or trying to figure out if that's a USB cable or an earpiece, before resorting to taking a dozen pictures of the floor and uploading them to Facespace to ask for help. Writing this review can't have been healthy for me, but its a good excuse for a nap. Or some anime. Or blood pressure medication and the first two.

Eyewear is connected!
Only had this eye glass tracker for a week or two and already used it several times to more easily find the eye glasses when I put them down somewhere without thinking. So saved several minutes looking around several times. Fairly easy to pair with blue tooth and has a reasonable range of about 30 feet and the app tells you if they are far or near and plays a ringing sound from device on the glasses to help you locate them. Battery life is over a week and charging takes about an hour or so. The slim black device is only slightly noticeable. A little expensive but worth it for the time saved and the fun of it. Love gadgets!

Basically useless
Every time that Iโve needed to find my glasses, the battery was dead. It has no indicator for a low battery. Or itโs just disconnected. I had the setting on to let me know if it disconnects, and it was disconnecting and reconnecting (&chiming) about every 5 seconds or so. I have 3 of these and they are all like this. I wouldn't recommend these.

It will do
I bought this small eyeglass tracker because my husband loses his glasses all the time. I received the tracker yesterday without written instructions. To get instructions you need to scan the bar code on the box. You also need to scan a barcode to download the software to work with the tracker. The bar codes are very difficult to read as they are so small. I couldn't get the tracker and phone to sync up. My oldest son finally took a look at it and was able to get it to sync up and work. The tracker has a small sound emitting from it when you are searching for your phone. If you have trouble hearing and live alone I'm not sure it would help you find it. It does have a map in it and it does show that the glasses are in my house. I rated it 3 stars due to no instruction manual, small writing in box you almost need a magnifying glass to read and difficulty in getting it to sync. After having the tracker for about two months now I've had another problem. The little rubber device that attaches your glasses on to tracker busted after about a month. I did have an extra one that came with it and am using that one now. I've looked and have been unable to buy more of the rubber devices that I need to have to attach the glasses to the tracker. I do not trust tape. It would be nice Dolphin could link these pieces to this page.

Finds my Sunnies
The tag is worth more than my cheap sunnies, but the value is in not having to ask anyone if they have seen where I left them. The app is a little bit annoying for a number of reasons, but it does the job. After changing the tag I was easily able to establish a connection with the app. I'm hoping to figure out all the app options and turn off the warnings I don't need, It is also a battery drain running constantly in the background and I have to physically remember to turn it off if I don't need it.

Tracking
I purchsed this eyewear from tag8 for the first time. I didnt know how to connect but thanks to the video it explained me that how to easily pair it with my phone. This is a really useful product for me cause I have the tendency to forget my glasses every now and then. The app is intuitive and offers various features like proximity alerts, a "last seen" location, and a crowd-finding feature that utilizes other users to locate your lost glasses. I absolutely love it.

Great idea but it doesn't work
I'm always losing my reading glasses so this seemed the magic solution. Sadly it doesn't work on my Android. See photo for the message I keep getting. Why is it being sold when it has a bug like this? Not so much a waste of money as Amazon will give me that back but a big waste of my time.

Disappointed
Really disappointed with this item. We were looking for something that we could activate if the glasses were lost, but this thing "cries" every time it's moved away from the phone. It also goes off every time it's near a working microwave. The glasses have to be kept in close proximity to the phone at all times otherwise its alarm goes off. As a result, the battery is very quickly depleted. Very annoying and extremely frustrating. We'll continue looking for one that only sounds the alarm when required.
