Molasses Without The Bite
I took a chance on this. Most molasses you buy in a grocery store is sorghum - sugar cane - based. The flavor is very intense and can be overwhelming. I've long been a fan of carob and thought I'd try this because I haven't used molasses in years. The flavor is mildly sweet as carob pods are and the molasses can be used on or in anything. My wife makes homemade granola and typically uses honey and maple syrup to sweeten the mix. We've tried this and like the extra pop of flavor molasses brings and the subtle carob flavor. Can easily put it in your favorite hot beverage in lieu of sugar or honey and it adds a touch of sweetness.

Great option for no chocolate peple.
I have bought this before and really like it. The flavor is rich and an excellent option to chocolate. It is thick and has a great texture and mixes quickly in milk. For those who stay away from chocolate, this is a superb option. It is superb for a hot fudge sundae. It keeps well with no loss in flavor. Instead of hot chocolate, this is grand with the required mini marshmallows. [Amazon carries the mini marshmallows too.]
