RuggedMadeLog Splitter Wood Catcher Table Tray for Horizontal (Push-Through) Style Splitters

This product is well made, consisting of welded steel tubing. If memory serves me correctly, the product details stated that this table can be retrofitted to accommodate most splitters that have the wedge welded to the end of the I-beam. I do not see any reason why that is not the case. The I beam that I had was only 1/4" in width, which was much smaller than the mounting bracket gap on the cradle. I had to mount two 3/16" plates on either side of the "I", to remove any slop between the two and create a solid mounting surface for the table. Two very solid 1/2 ×3" pins and carter keys, came with the product, to allow for easy removal. However, I used two bolts of the same size instead, to create a tighter fit, being that I did not have a welder to mount the plates. So, I used, two steel plates, one drill, and two bolts to complete the retrofitting. You do not have to be an engineer to make it work. I have used it four times, splitting big rounds 18-22 inches in diameter and green. Which is pretty heavy stuff, with no issues. Be mindful when splitting such large rounds, that you make sure the outside radius of the round is facing down. This will help insure that there are no issues with the big rounds hanging below the I-beam, snagging the outside edge of frame and damaging the product. This product does the job as advertised and will help save your back.

I have a North Star 37 ton splitter. I had to weld two plates on my splitter to make this catcher work. I then split the catcher in two pieces and then put it on each side. Works great!

Didn’t fit my splitter directly but with a little mod I’m able to use it. Good size table, I like that the bark and dirt can fall thru

Built like a tank. Love not having the halves fall on the ground

Very heavy. Not universal. Couldn't see anyway to adapt it to our splitter. They should provide a list of know splitters it fits and what it doesn't fit based on feedback, especially about splitters sold on Amazon.
