Warning: Dont break the amazing neck stretcher.
Amazing, effecttive, and affordable tool. I use a custom fit mouth piece for sleep i bought on Amazon. Warning: Don't use the back knob while the device is tight from the air bag pressure and head width back knob is tightened . It will strip the teeth in the tightning mechanism. :( this tool will last a long time if you do this. :) I think its good to decompress that neck regularly even if you dont have herniations or miss alignments or wedge looking discts also. I use it every day in the morning to align and decompress neck sometimes more than once per day. This thing feals like a pro chiropractor when the bag pumps up I feal good pops in the neck. If you use it hard the neck and jaw will hurt a little if over used. I recommend starting slow until you are used to it.

Very gentle but effective Cervical Neck Traction Device!
I took a chance on this traction device, as I do decompression therapy for a pinched nerve in my neck from a car accident that fires up every couple of years. I needed a little help when I was home and not have to drive to the office to get decompression which is costly. This device has helped me through those days and well worth trying. I followed the instructions and remembered to do it 2 or 3 times a day. After about 10 days, I was feeling a more constant relief and sleep was more peaceful.

I love it. it works!
I spend a lot of time sitting in a chair, often more than 12 hours a day, and have experienced shoulder and neck pain for years. The pain became chronic, and sometimes I couldn't even work. Recently, I also started feeling pain around my head and face, which is very scary.I have tried several special neck pillows for sleeping, a neck guard for working, and a neck stretcher that I can use by lying down from time to time. These helped to some extent, but I was looking for something that could support both my neck and shoulders at the same time. I noticed that my left shoulder is significantly more elevated than my right, which seemed to worsen the neck pain. When I found this device on Amazon, I decided to give it a try. I like that it's designed to keep the shoulders down while stretching the neck. Here’s what I found after using it many times throughout an entire day:- It's very light and doesn't hurt my collarbone or any other part of my body.- My neck gets stretched just by wearing it, even without increasing the height of the neck support.- Wearing it for 10–15 minutes every few hours significantly relieves my neck and shoulder pain. I feel the difference immediately, and this seems to work the fastest for pain relief.- Wearing it for longer than 15 minutes causes some nerve sensations in my arm. However, once I take it off, the sensation disappears, and my neck and shoulders feel lighter. Maybe my posture is really bad, so stretching for too long might be overwhelming for my body.- My only complaint is that I wish the fabric pads were detachable so I could wash them after several uses.I highly recommend this device. I'm wearing it while writing this review and plan to use it every day.

Be careful… read the “Cautions and Warnings” BEFORE use!
Be careful. There are limitations in the users guide “Cautions and Warnings” section that should have been included in the Amazon listing. “Do not use this device if you have spinal cord spondylopathy.” The way this unit adjust and inflates could increase the damage to lateral nerves impinged by vertebrae. “Consult with your physician before using this product.” Some of the comments on this device could lead someone to believe that this device can be self-prescribed and used with neck pain where nerve impingement is the issue. If the device causes vertebrae to tilt and pinch more, especially when degeneration has occurred, the results could potentially be harmful. On the plus side, the brace appears to be very well made.

Just get it adjusted correctly and its not uncomfortable.
Neck brace worked very well.It does help relieve neck pain due to what i think was a pinched nerve. It didnt cure it overnight but with using it a few times a day for 10-20 minutes at a time it did help relieve some pain while using it and within a week the pain i was having was getting less and less.

Purchased this based on reviews and seller’s claims about what this device can do. Upon delivery, I read instructions and tried it out. This device has a sort of two-pronged expansion system. Levers that you turn to mechanically push up the front and a pump that you squeeze to push up and equalize the rear half with the front. Turning the levers, you mechanically push up the front and that works if the stop positions are OK with your needs (for me, the stop points are far apart - one stop position is not enough traction and the next is too much). The padding at the top and bottom edges is not effective as you feel the plastic collar pushing harder and harder into your jawline as you increase the traction. Worse, the pump that is supposed to expand the rear half of this device works until it meets any sign of resistance at all. At that point, which is where you need it to work for any actual traction, the pump only hisses out the air as you pump. If you have ever had actual traction performed at say a physical therapist’s office, know what that feels like and how traction is supposed to work and feel, I feel you will be disappointed with this device.
