It works.
I wasn't sure when I installed this bulb if it would work. It felt a little tight in the socket. When I put everything back together, it worked perfectly.

Too bright, self destroyed in 2 hr.
Too bright, self destroyed (melted upper base) in 2 hrs run time. Very difficult to remove when this happens. (Modified tweezers were used.)Application: 2005 Toyota 4 runner, fan speed center hub illumination.Toyota part # 90010-09015. This will be my next step.

works but fits too tight
For an aftermarket item it is good.Lights up. I won't know how long it lasts I hope. (The original in my 2008 Toyota lasted 14 years.)It fits tight. Had to press it into the hole. Doubt I can get it back out if I ever need to. (The original just twisted and dropped out.)

Fit like OEM
When I would drive my wife's vehicle at night, I couldn't see the a/c controls. Since I didn't drive the car every day, I had a hard time fumbling around. These were easy to change and fit right in. Perfect.

Short life, fitting too tightly
Bulb base is slightly larger than stock OEM bulb. Bulb was snug upon installation. Did not last long before I had to replace them, at which point removal was extremely difficult. I replaced them with OEM Toyota bulbs.

Should have read the reviews!
Product light bulb in the right AC "wheel" and is wayyy too bright. Looking at others I'm afraid this will over heat and possibly cause a fire. Costs too little to make it worth my time to send back. Uninstalling it and throwing it away.EDIT: WHILE WRITING THE REVIEW, NOT ANY LONGER THAN 10 MINS IT MELTED. LUCKILY I REMOVED IT BEFORE IT CAUSED MORE DAMAGE. WOW.
