I am a 72 year old female and if I can easily install this so can you. And these are very sturdy. The small oven on the bottom shelf is quite heavy and yet the shelf slides like a dream. I did not use the paper template as these shelves just fit in my space with only about 1/8" on either side. So I had to make certain they were in the right place to clear the opening when sliding out. I put the glides on the shelf and then set the shelf exactly where I needed it and marked the holes with a felt pen. I removed the shelves and drilled the holes, took the glides off and screwed them down and then attached the shelves to the glides. When you attach the back of the glides slide the shelf forward so you don't have to reach so far. I might add this was also quick to install. I am thrilled and wished I had done it years ago. Now I don't have to get down on my hands and knees and crawl under the counter to get to the oven. Very very very happy!

Love this roll out shelf. The template that comes with it makes it very easy to install. Just be sure to follow the clear directions and keep testing to make sure it will fit when you roll it out.I chose this model because the shelf pulls out all the way - some others only pull out half way. I am not putting heavy items on here (like a soup pot) but grocery items. It seems like it could easily handle a heavier load.It works quietly and smoothly. I was never so excited to put the boxes of cereal away!

Very easy to install (sturdy and accurate template provided). 8 cabinet screws, hold the rails, and four machine screws hold the shelf to the rails. There's enough movement available (with slots in the rail supports, etc) to accommodate less than perfect pilot hole positioning! Installed it is solid as a rock.Shelf sides are low enough to be unobtrusive but tall enough to keep items in place. Full extension means the entire depth of a very deep base cabinet can be used (We have our large dog food canister on the shelf) and it is very strong and sturdy (no sag apparent at full extension with a close-to 50lb load). We were able to install another shelf immediately above the food canister, making much better use of the vertical space.Would definitely buy again

Pretty straightforward installation although my husband did it for me. Very sturdy, love being able to slide things in and out of my deep cabinet. So hard to see what was what before. It also helped me organize my pots and pans shelf. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because you loose kind of a lot of space when these are installed. I guess it's to be expected. Other than that, buy these, they're great!

These are very sturdy and well made. They do not come with any information on how to attach to wire shelves, just information, and screws for installing on a wood shelf. I'll explain how I did it. I cut some 1x2 inch wood strips to place under the wire shelf for something to screw into. I marked and pre-drilled pilot holes into the wood using the metal slides as my guide. I then carefully measured to determine the side to side position for the wood. I used a wire tie to temporarily hold the 1x2 wood into place under the shelf since I installed these by myself. I then lined up a metal guide on top of my wire shelf and used the included wood screws to attach it to my 1x2 wood. I repeated the process on the other side being careful to keep the 13.78 inches between the upper mounting holes for the basket. Then you just install the basket to the slides with 4 machine screws and your done. I've included photos showing the 1x2 wood. As you can also see they hold a lot of weight. Even loaded up with cans they work perfectly even at full extension.

I installed these roll-out shelves in an older kitchen. I bought two brands and installed them in the limited lower cabinet space, Lynk and Smart Design (shown here). I bought the Smart Design because they were so much better priced than the Lynk (21"x20") size. Bottom line, I really like the Smart Design roll-out shelves better, and if they came in other sizes I would have used them exclusively. They are less expensive, but they seem a little sturdier, they glide so smoothly, even with heavy weight (says up to 100lbs!) and unlike the Lynx brand, they have FULL extension. Amazing value and quality. Fast delivery, easy installation, clear instructions. I would buy them again.

Let me say that the unit was well made and worked perfectly after installation thereby getting a 5 star rating. However, when the package was received it had obviously been opened. When installing, the paper pattern had been used by someone who had attempted to install it. Also, the screws for the rail system did not fit. They were too large. This pull out shelf had obviously been returned to Amazon and then Amazon had sent it out to me without any inspection to determine if everything was correct, etc. This is my major complaint that Amazon apparently did not examine a returned item and then turned around and sent it back out to another customer, AS NEW.As I said, the shelf is a quality item and I am pleased with the way it functions even though I had to source my own mounting screws.The product gets a 5 star but Amazon gets a 1 star.

To begin, I want to point out that I have no idea what "stretch " means for this product. Doesn't make any sense to me.It was relatively easy to install. I installed it in a cabinet under the kitchen sink. Given that there are drain pipes and a garbage disposal hanging down it wastes quite a bit of storage space and makes it real hard to get things that are in the back of the cabinet. This has been a good solution for that problem. I do recommend it. It is definitely sturdy and not flimsy.
