Q: Can you take out a slat be taken out and put back in?

When you assemble the fence you can definitely leave out a slat or slats. There are top and bottom rails that hold the vertical risers together even if some of the slats are left out. Once you fasten it to the ground with the stakes it is not designed for removing slats. Maybe it could be flexed enough to get an upper slat off but it involves flexing parts that are not meant for a lot of flexing. Best practice would be to lift if off from the stakes and take off one of the vertical risers to remove slats, then place it back on its stakes. I estimate that it would take me about 20 minutes to do that operation, so it seems a reasonable option if you are not reconfiguring slats very frequently.

Q: Is each panel 50 x 50?

They don’t build as two separate panels, but each side of the L shape is 50x50

Q: is it possible to only get 2 -50 inch panels for the front and 2- 50 inch panels for a left and right side with appropiate posts NOT as a kit?

I don't think so. I ordered panels large enough to go around the concrete pad.
