Golight (30200) Stryker Dash-Mounted Wireless Remote for Search Light

I mounted this on my console and wired directly to breaker panel on my boat. Since the 2 batteries are 12vdc wired in parallel, this is possibly simply by soldering wires to either (+) and (-) of the battery terminals. Only need to drill a small hole in the back mounting base in order to pass the wire through. This works way better than having a battery in there that not only needs periodic replacing, if you dont replace it often enough, it will corrode and eat away the battery terminals. Happens all the time with salt water environments!

Works just as described, so much better than the handheld remote.

Replaced the remote that came on my 2014 center console, The original remote finally quit after almost 10 years. This one looks exactly the same, worked perfectly from the moment I put the batteries in. I was concerned I might need to program it, or pair it with the spotlight on my boat. But I didn't need to. Worked great right out of the box.

Got this as a direct replacement for mine that stoped working , easy pairing and good instructions.

Exactly what I wanted, it’s mounted in my work vehicle so you can never lose the remote.
