what is the difference between the white and the blue version of the OLED board?

The colour the pixels are lit is the difference. The white model shows lit pixels as white, the blue shows lit pixels as blue.

Can 2 or more of these be controlled using i2c by one arduino? or do they both share the same static address?

The device has only one address and there is no way to change it. To drive 2 displays you would need to use 2 x i2c busses, but I don’t think the Arduino has this by default. I used them on a Pico and that does have 2 so no problem.

does this work with raspberry pi?

Yes, I'm using it with a Pi. I'm using SPI rather than I2C, as this is the way the unit was wired when it was delivered. Switching it over to I2C seems to require a soldering iron.

Can the refresh rate be changed to 50hz or 60hz, so the screen can be seen on a camera?

I'm afraid I don't know if refresh rate can be changed, but I have photographed my screen and it works fine. If you have a fast shutter speed you can see refresh going on, but a slower shutter should fix that and give perfectly acceptable images. Even video with my phone came out OK, although the refresh sometimes showed up as slightly paler pixels on part of the display. Really cool and great value parts, these, but as many others have noted, they are *very* small.
