Frost line
Ok but not brilliant. Didn't really hold my attention. What bugged me was lenna and hunters enforced physical closeness. It limited what could happen.

Three stars for me!
Since I really love Paranormal Romance, I was super excited when I received an email about ‘Frost Line’. When I read the words Tarot, and magic I knew I needed to read this book. I used to love reading books about Tarot cards and magic. And it had been a very long time since I read any books involving those two things.‘Frost Line’ is a very easy to read book. The writing is easy to follow, and the story is not to complicated. Although the whole manifestation of a Tarot card still sounds a little ‘too’ much to me, I liked getting to know the characters in this book with their ‘powers’. Especially Lenna’s character.Lenna finds suddenly finds herself on Earth. A little boy called Ethan is suddenly all alone, and he is so scared that he somehow summons Lenna. Although Lenna can’t stay long on Earth, she is determined to help the little scared boy. But soon there are ‘Hunters’ out there, searching for Lenna. And not all of them are good.I enjoyed reading ‘Frost Line’ but I did miss some action. For a very long time not much was happening in this book. And to me it became a little boring because of that. I kept on reading because I wanted to know how this story would end, but I really missed action and a little more depth.I also didn’t really like the male main character Caine. He just was a little to rude for my taste. And I could have gone without the whole ‘first time traveling with an erection part’. I really didn’t like that part at all. What does it matter to know that little bit of information? At the end of the book I still had a lot of questions. This, on the one hand, makes me want to read more books in this series but it also left me feeling a little frustrated. ‘Frost Line’ is definitely one of those books that I can’t really say I liked, but I also didn’t dislike it. Maybe I have to think about it a little more. For now.. three stars.

Interesting story line, great character
It was a novelty for me and i wanted to start 2017 with one so it was perfect even better: i really, really liked this story. It has humour, some suspense, action and magic all to make a great story.it's a stand alone which makes it even better in my opinion. Lenna is a powerful being but she has a touch of innocence and is utterly loyal ( and clever) she is really a manifestation of willpower. I loved her a lot. The way she put Caine in difficulty was cute and humorous . Caine is a Hunter, a very dedicated one at that but also someone very loyal to his friends like we will discover. I loved how serious he was and at the same time of Lenna disturbed it.I liked the interaction between the adults with that little boy hurt but still so innocent and how they wanted to protect him.The story is captivating, plot well build with twists to keep you very interested until the end and most villains get what they deserve^^.In fact the only thing that disappointed me was the epilogue... in a sense i think i would have enjoyed the book more without it , which isn't usual for me. I do love discovering what happen to characters i love but in this case... no either i would have wanted it different or not at all but in this case it saddened me so i was disappointed to see the book end like that. However i know some could be happy with that kind of ending as well so it's really personal. In Any case i do recommend this book if you want a paranormal romance/ paranormal romance suspense as all together it was quite enjoyable.

Outstanding tale
When little Elijah Tilley witnessed Uncle Bobby (State Senator Robert Markham) kill his mother, he quietly slipped out of the house and ran to a friend’s house. But that friend was out of town for the weekend. Elijah sat shivering in the darkened home until a woman appeared out of a tarot card.Lenna Frost is Strength of the Major Arcana. She is pulled into the human realm and tasked with protecting Elijah. Lenna is not supposed to be on Earth. If she is gone from Aeonia for more than five days, her world would cease to exist.Caine is a Hunter for magical beings. Emperor Jerrick has given him the duty of bringing Lenna back to Aeonia, as well as the long lost Alexandra Deck that made travel between worlds possible. Before Caine and Lenna returns, they must ensure Elijah’s safety. Uncle Bobby has hired someone to find and kill the boy. There was also a few other Hunters, sent by Veton, the Tower, to retrieve the magical tarot deck – at any cost. As time counts down, the odds of failure increase. Now that Caine has fallen in love with Lenna, failure is not an option.***** FIVE STARS! This is an outstanding tale, written co-op by two New York Times bestselling authors. Any one of these authors is a powerhouse; yet working together they have created a magical story that cannot be missed by any true fan of Super Natural / Romantic Suspense. Elijah is adorable and the main couple has a strong chemistry which cannot be denied. I hope that I get to revisit Aeonia again someday. *****Reviewed by Detra Fitch

Simplistic
This was quite readable, even enjoyable. The premise it was based on was interesting if not that fully developed. Over all though I found it too simplistic and the solutions too convenient. Worth a read if you're at a loose end.
