Stanbroil 19-Inch Round Fire Pit Burner Pan, Drop-in Gas Fire Pit Inserted

Prior to purchasing, my fire pit had huge lava rocks, I changed to this drop in type which fits perfectly. The flames were such an improvement. Quality appears to be very good, the metal pan is solid and not thin. I filled it with smaller lava type rocks and love it, although I wanted the fire glass type for filling it I found them to be too expensive, but enough about the fill material as to this product I would recommend it if your looking for one.

Works as expected after easy installation

Perfect fit. Well made, should last me years. I had to get an adapter for the gas but it was inexpensive and well worth the price.

Make sure you get a high pressure adjustable regulator for this fire pit ring. I first made the mistake of using a low pressure non regulated hose and the flames were 3”. So I asked the community and they said to get the high pressure adjustable regulator and the flames are high and fierce! The pan is beautifully made and heavy duty. Took five -10 pound bags of glass rocks to cover most of the burner.

My Friends, I'm an absolute clutz with a hammer, drill or tape measure, but after looking at so many firepits that didn't meet my purpose, I decided to create my own fire pit for my own situation and also save myself hundreds of dollars in the process. This Fire Pit Pan (25") is big !!! It's strong and with the fittings already taped and ready to be connected to the propane line., it was just too easy. It was delivered within 3 days in a very neatly packaged box with Styrofoam inserts protecting the burner pan. Rest assured that when everything else gets old, this fire pan assembly will still be burning strong. Even at half power, this burner will melt your face, so be careful and be safe out there. That being said... and understand, I don't have children running about and that I've taken precautions... I had found a 5' round table at a garage sale for $35 and after measuring 2-5 times, cut out the center for this pan. I know it sounds silly and unsafe putting a fire pan into a wooden table but after reading other reviews and doing my research, I realized the heat from the vents were going up and not to the sides... (I actually tested this by touching the side of the pan under that table... I also used heat tape around the side between the pan and the wood). After all lines were connected and checked twice, I mixed in 2 parts clear crystal fire glass to one part copper fire glass. Not sure of what to expect, I used a long kitchen match to safely ignite and adjust the fire to about 25% for a calm flame that was perfect for the evening. Having a large wooden deck, I also have 2 fire extinguishers and a water hose within 6' just incase, Another great thing about this fire pan is, if I decide to change pits, I can easily insert this pan into a stone, brick, or a metal frame another day and customize for that occasion. My amazing wife even suggested we could take it to the coast for the winter times and traveling. Be Creative, Be Safe, and Keep the Fires Burnin mates... Cheers

Perfect!!! This is just what we were looking for to replace the existing fire ring. We had one that used ceramic logs and wanted to just use a ring and fire glass. This was easy to install and works great. Had questions and sent email to Stanbroil and they responded immediately. Their price was very reasonable compared to others that we had looked at. The 12" fire ring is well designed and the perfect size for this drop in pan. Would definitely recommend this product and company.

I filled it with lava and glass stones. Connected it to a air mixer and fireplace throttle valve and a flexible valve to natural gas. It sits in the center of my glass patio table. At first I was concerned about too much heat on the table. But even after 15 minutes the table is COLD. It's a great addition to keep everyone warm.

I purchased both the Stanbroil Fire Pit and Stanbroil Installation Kit as a replacement for my defunct 15-year old existing propane fire pit pan and propane connector, which had corroded and was throwing flames out the connector hose. The Stanbroil installation was simple, the dimensions are accurate and it fit perfectly, the unit looks sharp, and the propane flames generated are better than the old pit even when new. I anticipate the advantages for the Stanbroil Fire Pit is that rain water can't collect in the pit as it drains well, the fire ring is slightly elevated versus resting in the bottom of the pit, and the Fire Pit and Hose can be purchased separately versus an integrated unit. Moreover, the Stanbroil Fire Pit and Installation Kit worked out to be less than 50% of the $400+ price quoted by my local retailer (and online) for a copycat replacement of my old unit. I also appreciated how quick Stanbroil replied to my technical inquiries prior to purchase. I anticipate based on the design that the Stanbroil Fire Pit will last longer than the original pit that I replaced.

This drop in fire pan fit the bill perfectly for my wine barrel firepit project. The trick to this is ensuring your math is up to speck to fit this into your top as there is no second chance if you mess that part up. For the fire stone you will add after inserting this unit it will require about 30 pounds of product so build that into your budget.
