Functional ice skating bag
This is a great bag for my 10yr old. It has separate ventilated compartments for your skates. There is enough ventilation where the skates do dry out in the bag. We do dry the blades prior to placing them in the bag, but her laces are sometimes damp going in the bag. The bag is compact and roomy enough for my daughter to carry, but easy for me to carry as well. The center compartment has enough space to put clothes, helmet, towels, water bottle, etc. It’s a sturdy bag. I do feel adults may have a hard time fitting their skates, but they may be able to put them in differently to get their skates to fit. I know one of the ratings was for scent. There was no scent that I noticed. It is a reasonably priced bag that fits everything she needs for lessons and practice. It’s comfortable for her to grab and go. I really like that she has dedicated places for shoes/skates separate from dry items/clothes.

Great skate backpack for kids
Bought this for my kid's ice skates. A lot of other kids at the rink have this same one. It's great cause you wear it as a backpack and also have venting mesh to air out the skates if they're not wiped down well enough. Large pocket in the center for other items.

Amazing backpack, just stay organized with some pouches!
Love love LOVE this backpack! I recently bought it and took it to the rink for the first time. It was very comfortable to wear and the storage design is just flawless. The weight is evenly distributed and the middle compartment leaves plenty of space for my other supplies - hard guards, lace puller, water, wallet, layers, etc. The only thing is that the middle compartment gets kind of messy and the smaller items may be hard to find, but I plan to get some pouches to help mitigate this! Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase!

No more stinky skates!
This is an absolutely wonderful bag! Fits my skates as well as all the things plus more. And it is quite comfortable on the back. I would say men’s skates will not fit in this bag, I’d recommend the transpack roller-skate bag for men’s skates :)

Color of zippers does not match photos!!
I don't know why, (and I saw another reviewer mention it about this particular purple pattern), but the zippers are pink instead of black. I don't hate the difference, but I would have preferred black zippers. So I have no idea which bag patterns still have black zippers and which are a different color since you can't trust the photos listed on the item.Other than the zipper colors not matching the photo they have listed for it, I do love the quality of the bag. It's very, very nice and I will be buying more of these bags in the future with different patterns. I wear womens 9.5 in street shoe size, so I'm one of the largest sizes for a ladies foot and my skates fit fine. The yellow tags shows you can store the skates vertically if you have really long skates. I found I had to tilt my skates slightly in the bag to make them fit, but I didn't need to turn them fully vertical. If you do turn them fully vertical, much, much larger skates will fit. There's a lot of room for blade and boot when its vertical. The middle pocket has plenty of room for my long skate guards, my waxel pads, towel, water bottle etc, with still room to spare. It would definitely fit a helmet if you wanted to stuff one in there, and there would still be a little room leftover for a couple more small things.Wearing the bag on my shoulders is very comfortable and there is plenty of strap left to make it even larger. I don't see why this bag would hurt anyone's shoulders unless they're trying to carry a heavy boulder in their bag.

Worked great! Quality is okay.
Purchased this for my new skates. It’s perfect. The sides fit the skates along with the terry blade covers and the plastic ones. The middle compartment has a small zipper pocket and has enough room for cloth, water, etc. It also held my toddler’s things in there with no trouble. My only complaint of that part of the inside seam near the zipper started unraveling and kept on getting caught in the zipper. For Joe much these bags cost, it would have been nice if that were not a problem only a month or so in.Overall, a good bag that you can wear as a backpack and leaves you hands free but can also carry a decent amount. Quality could be better though.

Works great for roller skates
Bought this for roller skates and it is the perfect way to carry them. Ventilated side pockets for the skates help them air dry after a sweaty session at the rink. With the skates on the sides, it is a very ergonomic design. The middle compartment has room for knee pads, wrist guards, and an extra set of wheels. No water bottle holder, but that can fit in the middle compartment as well.

A serious skating equipment bag.
I purchased this for a skater with an outrageously expensive pair of skates. Other bags caused moisture problems or even rubbed their color off onto the skates. This bag offers proper protection and storage with no downside. She was thrilled with it, and she knows what excellent is. I highly recommend it.
