Great front sight tool for Ruger 10/22
Used this tool for removing the front sight on my Ruger 10/22. Like others stated, I needed to slightly grind a taper on the two backing prongs for proper clearance of the sight using my Dremel, but after that it took me less than a minute to remove my front sight. It pushed out so easily I couldn't beleive it. It now rests with my other sight tools until needed again.

A Must Buy for customization, especially if you have older styled firearms!
If you like older styled firearms and customization then this tool is a must to buy! I bought it specifically for my Ruger 10/22 Front Sight removal and it worked! The 10/22 Front Sight is infamous for being a booger to remove and you can very easily damage your barrel. This specific tool is a blessing! I was able to remove my front sight after like 3 tries but once I was in position I gave it some elbow and it came out with very little damage, only like 2 small starches. (I was not using a table vise so the starches are my bad but if you are using a table vise like recommended you will able to remove it no problem, however you can remove it with no table vise...)

Do not order from Sparkfish.
Despite order cancellation within 30 minutes of order, vendor sent anyway. Worse, they require you to pay to return. Abysmal seller. Do not order from Sparkfish.

Works great with minor modification
I've done the brass punch and hammer plenty of times on 10/22 front sights in the past. Wanted to give this a try to see if it's easier. As other reviews stated, minor beveling/rounding of the two prongs is required to fit the rounded/curved surface of the front sight base. I used a drum sanding attachment for a dremel, and 5 minutes later it was perfect. So much easier than a punch and hammer. Would recommend this to anyone.

Worked perfectly
I was raised up shooting a Ruger 10/22 but now I've gotten older and can't see the little brass bead on the front sight any more. So I'm going to give a fiber optic dovetail sight a shot. This tool made the process very easy. I took my time and I was finished within 20 minutes. Highly recommend this device. Made the job so much easier and now I have one if I ever need one again.

Worked perfectly on my Henry H001 and Skinner front sight ramp
I have a Skinner front sight ramp installed on my H001. The ramp accepts front sights with a 3/8" dovetail, but the ramp's mounting screw is covered once you install a sight. I found that the ramp was loose one day and needed to remove the sight to access the screw. If you've ever used these ramps, you know they're a bit fragile and only secured on by a pretty tiny screw that's threaded very shallow. I was not keen on using a hammer and punch for removal. The Williams sight pusher fit perfectly over the Skinner ramp and allowed me to remove the sight from the ramp dovetail in seconds without marring either. 10/10. As frustrating as it was to drop $70 on the tool, I probably would have paid half that to have a gunsmith to do it for me, plus wait time and driving there/back. All in all, it's very well built and I highly recommend it.

Sight pusher
It's a sight pusher. Good tool to have for ramped sights. If you plan on making multiple sight changes or have multitude of rifles needing sights to be changed worth the money. If not a punch and hammer will work fine just take your time.

A Tool that Works!!
The William's Gun Sight Co. Front Sight Pusher, is the only tool I have found that will easily remove tight dove tail front sights on a rifle. I tried the old fashioned hammer and drift punch method, but that didn't work and you just end up possibly damaging the front sight. This tool is perfectly designed to gently push those extra tight front sights off, without any structural damage to the sight or it's base. It works like a little vise, allowing direct torque pressure to be applied at the point needed. Well worth the money in my opinion. Saves alot of time and frustration. Very happy with my purchase.
