Just buy it
I wanted to get into Jazz and this collection did not disappoint. My favorite Miles album is not in this collection(B*tches Brew), but this are really good too and it has my second favorite (Kind of Blue).

If you like Miles' early work, this is it!
I just really loved the early years' performances and recordings of Miles Davis. To me, anything up to "Bitches Brew" is "great old jazz." His bop, old moods, blues are always too cool. Like any collection, there might be a few outliers, but this stuff knocks me out. Couldn't help but buy it.
