better than recycled/ re-used from e-waste facility
Installed and works great for the first 3 hours so far. Will update when I have more time with it in at least a couple of weeks. This is better than getting an used/recycled keyboard from an ewaste facility. Half the price, everything is new, the wires weren't damaged out of the box. All keys and pointer button work flawlessly so far. A month later, still works perfectly.

Great Fit for 840 G5, Backlight works well!
Things I like about this product:1. Almost perfect fit for original keyboard2. Backlight works well3. Easy installation with the same ribbon cablesThings that could be improved or dislike:1. The mouse joystick has a square indent but the mouse is round, so the joystick is unstable and can fall off easily2. There are machine marks in the plastic3. The bottom tabs that hold the keyboard in place are shorter than the original so there is a small gapoverall good replacement choice

Lasts about a month and then various keys stop working
I have been through three of these and all eventually exhibited the same issue: after working perfectly for a few weeks, various letters stop working completely. Not a driver issue and the same problem presented on Windows 10 and Windows 11. Avoid.
