Great mini pc at a great price.
Used this minipc for quite some time. Its Core i9 processor from 2022. Is graphics leave a lot to desire but overall, it is great mini pc. For the price I believe it was excellent choice at the time. It handles everyday tasks easily and never felt it was being bogged down by workload. Good buy if its still available.

The NAB9S is an Incredible Value, Quiet, and Powerful!
I've been looking for a compact desktop replacement to handle heavy multitasking, productivity, and homelab duties without taking up real estate on my desk. The Minisforum NAB9S delivers in every single category. The unit feels premium, solid, and surprisingly compact. Accessing the internals is smooth and effortless, making installation of RAM and storage a breeze. Even under heavy CPU loads, the cooling setup keeps the i9 chip well within safe temperatures without making the fan sound like a jet engine. It stays practically silent during daily office tasks, web browsing, and media streaming. Because of the Intel Core i9-13900HK CPU, this machine shreds through complex spreadsheets, code compilation, and multi-threaded workloads without breaking a sweat. Minisforum includes the dedicated ribbon/cable directly in the box of the NAB9S, allowing you to easily add a secondary 2.5" SSD or HDD inside the case for extra storage or backup. It comes with the standard VESA mounting bracket and screws so I mounted it right onto the back of my monitor to completely clear off my desk space. Minisforum’s customer support is responsive and helpful if you have technical questions or need driver guidance, and the warranty provides great peace of mind. However, the integrated graphics are great for productivity/media, but not built for heavy 3D gaming (as expected for this form factor). If you want to save even more money, Minisforum offers this unit as 'barebones' if you provide your own RAM, storage, and operating system. All said, the NAB9S is one of the best mini PC values on the market. Highly recommended!

Great micro plex server
I got this to replace my existing plex server (beelink gti13 w/ ek dock) and it was very simple, small, fast and perfect for quicksync plex transcoding. Its got the typical minsforum bios and took about 2 minutes to set my fan profile and all other settings. Installed ubuntu and plex and was off and running with my jbod enclosure. this is a great inexpensive micro server with very low power requirements. I have owner several minisforum pcs and boards, they all seem pretty high quality.

Had to reboot several times to get to work. Was small so worked good for our trip across country.

As a NAS head
Hello, Since December (now March) I used this system as a NAS head. For a while I used the Yottamaster PS500C3 but found it was insufficient for my needs and consequently purchased a QNAP TL-D800C instead with immediate increase in throughput that the system was able to handle. I am running Linux, you may get a SMART error on reboot, but apparently this is very common. Still, I thought the worst initially, and the support team paid me to purchase another NVME. Wow. Seriously. I've never been so treated in over 25 years of buying computers. I did, eventually, find that the Kensington NVME on-board was doing fine and there is no need to worry. I run Linux and the 2.5 Gbps Ethernet controller mostly. Therefore I could purchase a PCI-E E-key to M-key adapter and put the second NVME in on the significantly faster PCIE bus - it also only cost about 20 dollars. I have some things to do but the second NVME is being used as an OpenZFS write cache with very good speeds. Next, this PC supports (apparently) up to 64 GB of RAM. OpenZFS loves caching files too, so the more RAM the better. Finally, though I need to contact support about it, there is an additional riser for an additional SATA drive if I wanted to do something like that. At the price, for a home server, this thing just can't be beat if you're going to be serious about it. I can get USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds on mechanical disks, I can repurpose the unnecessary "wifi" card slot for something I want, I can even add a 2.5" SATA drive to it. Overall 100% recommend purchase for this kind of task. And it's fast. And I also serve Plex and other things up from it. Doesn't bat an eyelash anymore. A+ Good Job Minisforum! -b

Good for casual gaming, rendering, and audio production
I am a musician and I use Bandlab a lot for music production, which is an online Digital Audio Workstation. I bought this computer primarily for that purpose and it has served me well so far. The site is more responsive and any issues I had before on my end are cleared up. I wanted to put this computer to the test for a while before reviewing it, so I have watched 4k videos, played some games like survivalist: Infected Strain, 0AD, etc on the highest quality graphics and I have done some rendering in Blender, Kdenlive, and I played around with Godot in 3D doing some basic tasks. It performed flawlessly with no lag and without the fans being too noisy. There was a slight heat off of the side of the computer but, nothing over the top. With Windows 11 Pro the computer performed well, but Windows itself is quite heavy on resources and I felt like I wasn't getting the best performance that I could out of the system. I first tried EndeavourOS Linux and it installed fine but, I personally didn't like it, so I next installed Manjaro Linux with the Cinnamon desktop. Right away in both EndeavourOS and Manjaro, I noticed that while everything worked, the Internet seemed slow. After some investigation I found that by disabling the bluetooth service that the Internet speeds increase exponentially (faster than Windows) and the computer became so fast that menus opened instantly, I mean blazing fast. It is possible that I didn't have the right Kernel and therefore the right driver for the bluetooth card installed and this made it slow, but I couldn't say for certain. Overall, I like this computer so far. I feel like it was an excellent purchase and I look forward to purchasing another MinisForum computer or two in the future for my kids.

**Game-Changer for Home and Office!**
As an IT professional, I've seen my fair share of mini desktop PCs, but the MinisForum truly stands out. When my father-in-law needed a computer upgrade, I knew this was the perfect fit. Its compact size, comparable to the Intel NUC series, hides a powerhouse of features in a slightly larger-than-palm-sized box. The attention to detail is impressive. The box includes a VESA mounting plate and screws for convenient monitor mounting, an HDMI cable, and additional I/O adapters for extra internal storage. This PC is packed with two LAN ports, multiple USB A and C ports, onboard WiFi 6, and two HDMI outputs for a seamless dual monitor setup. The sleek, space-saving design is perfect for any home or small office. The intuitive toolless design lets you easily upgrade RAM or other components by simply pushing on the lid – no screws required! This unique feature adds to the overall user-friendly experience. Having been a loyal Intel NUC user, I can confidently say that MinisForum has won me over completely. For anyone in need of a reliable, feature-packed daily PC, the MinisForum is an outstanding choice. Highly recommended!

Support Is Non Existent & Wouldnt Purchase Again From Minis Forum
The manufacturer repeatedly delayed replacing a product they sold that was defective due to faulty capacitors. After endless excuses and stalling, they finally claimed I'd have to pay out of pocket for a replacement. Avoid purchasing from this company at all costs it's a clear sign of poor customer service and unreliable products.

Received the same defective computer twice
I never write bad reviews, but this is important to share. My long-time trusted techie recommended this computer after reading excellent reviews. The computer arrived the first time, but it wouldn't power on. I returned it and received a refund. After I received the refund, I reordered the same item, given the good reviews and my techie's recommendation. We assumed it was a one-off, which can happen sometimes. I waited until I received the refund and then reordered the same computer. My techie came back a second time to set up the second computer, which also didn't power on. Upon closer inspection, he realized that the company had shipped the same computer back that I had returned. We couldn't believe this. We spoke to customer service, but there wasn't anything they could do about it except process the refund. Even though I received the refund both times, it was a frustrating experience: a waste of time dealing with the two computers, and an unrecoverable expense: I had to pay my techie twice for his time to come over and try to set up the computer. It's incomprehensible, really. Unfortunately, I will never order a computer again from Amazon, and neither will he.

Worth the money.
Spent a day to install it until production. So far so good. Build quality good. One thing surprised me : it is with Windows 11 Pro ( said Windows 11 in the description ). I was quite hesitated before ordering it as I prefer a Pro. The 3.5mm audio output with a not too good but ok DAC ( just a little bit bass ).

Great little machine with no fussing about
I purchased this for a friend who wanted me to build him a cheap and simple home office pc. I told him that was a thing of the past and these mini PC's are all the rave at the moment. They use minimal power so are cheap to run, are very powerful, and almost completely silent. Plus they can do everything a full sized PC can do. 6 months later, he keeps telling me how good it's been. We're very happy with this Minisforum UN1265 Mini PC
