American Innovative Chef's Quad-Timer Professional

This is the best timer ever! I have had mine for several years and have purchased another four for relatives, including a spare one for me, if ever mine should retire from service. I truly love it. What a great idea to have four settings and so easy to use.

The functionality of the device is quite good, I like having 4 timers in a single unit and once you get used to it's somewhat unintuitive functionality it is a useful device.The reason I am giving it 3 stars is purely on build quality, which frankly is appalling. The casing itself is fairly decent, but the electronics and in particular the dial mechanism screams of super low quality manufacturing.This manifests itself with the device sometimes not measuring turns of the dial, or not turning on because the metal brush inside hasn't made clean contact. This can be quite frustrating when trying to get an exact time, as the dial will often click over with no change. The device also requires you turn turn it a lot to set a longer time, and this issue doesn't help.I am also not a fan of only being able to set the time in 1 minute intervals, and after ~30mins 5 min intervals. If they had spent more on a better dial mechanism they could have used momentum to increase timings by larger intervals.You should not pay more than £10 for the device.

Bit confusing to use at first, nice loud buzzer, looks well. Very good if you're trying to cook several things at once

I've had one for 10 years. Still works perfectly and is simple to use and really useful.

This is the second one I've bought. 4 independent timers plus clock. So glad they didn't try to upgrade it, they got it right first time.
